Robin's Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Thread

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

1. Previous/Next arrows
2. Widgets
3. Choose where to go upon deleting an email
4. No ads as you noted ;-)
5. More is coming soon, specifically some requests for updates to notifications

aquamail, handles my yahoo/google/outlook together just fine. The black background saves good battery too.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

I've always been happy with Gmail. Excellent security, too.

Type Mail. hands down the best I have ever used. (formerly Blue Mail). Best features, best interface.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

I use Type Mail (formerly Blue Mail) for my Yahoo and Exchange email. Love it for those. I use Inbox for my Gmail account. I like Type Mail a lot. I have tried the stock email app and Cloud Mail and, for me, it is much better.

I use mymail, syncs all email accounts whether it's yahoo, Hotmail etc. Plus all your folders are available.

AquaMail ftw. Extremely configurable, handles all kinds of accounts, fast, stable and excellent support. I've tried many email clients and AquaMail has become the default for all of our devices.

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

I just use the stock email app. I like the combined inbox with my multiple Gmail accounts.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

I have yet to find a favorite. When I do, it will support EAS, EWS and imap. Aquamail does EWS (and seems to be the only one that does) but not EAS. Others do EAS but not EWS.
What I want is all in one, with ability to set sync times per account and unique alert rules.

I use Type Mail and I think the program is absolutely excellent. It's fast with tons of customizations and settings.

This thread in the AquaMail forum may interest you. It's a discussion between the developer and some users on EAS, EWS and IMAP, some of the requirements/advantages/disadvantages of each, some reasons why you may never see all 3 in one mobile client, and right at the end of the thread an unexpected but effective way around the problem.

AquaMail can set sync times per account.
What "unique alert rules" are you looking for? It already supports Tasker, Lightflow, Android Wear, Droid Notify and some other stuff. It also has several notification options for both incoming and outgoing mail, separately.

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

how much should I sell my note 4 (Verizon) for?

Hi folks. Thinking of getting the S6...I have a wireless back plus glass screen protector. How much would a fair price be for the bundle? The phone is in excellent condition.

They are going for about $450-500 on Ebay so around that price would be fair I think.

I'd check eBay or swappa, that should give you a good idea of value.

Search online for used phones in your area of the same kind and sell it for about that much. Sell it for higher amount then what you find online if how much you make is very important to you, or post it lower than everyone else if you just need to get rid of it right away. Pretty straightforward.

Apple is considering and Android trade in program, you could also try out Best Buy for trade in or your local carrier store. But Swappa, eBay or put it up on the Android Central Marketplace.
