Robin's Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Thread

Re: how much should I sell my note 4 (Verizon) for?

Apple is considering and Android trade in program, you could also try out Best Buy for trade in or your local carrier store. But Swappa, eBay or put it up on the Android Central Marketplace.

Haha well I have the iPhone 6 already but this trade in (or sale) is for another android.

I think the catch is...you need to buy an iPhone when you trade it in. OP wants a GS6. Keep in mind that every time a new "flagship" phone is released, there are floods of phones hitting swappa and the like, which makes the value decrease.

Re: how much should I sell my note 4 (Verizon) for?

Verizon sells refurbished ones with a 90 day warranty for only $489

Re: how much should I sell my note 4 for?

t-mobile is selling it for $599 now. $450 seems an okay price.

Re: how much should I sell my note 4 for?

If you put it on eBay you have to factor in that whopping 10% they are going to charge you. :p
Not to mention PayPal fees. :'(

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6 how much should I sell my note 4 for?

Try swappa. They are selling for about the same price as eBay but you pay a ton less in fees. Good luck on your sale!

Look at your local Craigslist and sell it local to avoid fees altogether and get a feel of the going price. Swappa is the next best thing.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

This thread in the AquaMail forum may interest you. It's a discussion between the developer and some users on EAS, EWS and IMAP, some of the requirements/advantages/disadvantages of each, some reasons why you may never see all 3 in one mobile client, and right at the end of the thread an unexpected but effective way around the problem.

Let's discuss: push mail for Exchange

AquaMail can set sync times per account.
What "unique alert rules" are you looking for? It already supports Tasker, Lightflow, Android Wear, Droid Notify and some other stuff. It also has several notification options for both incoming and outgoing mail, separately.

Thanks. That is a very helpful link. And using Tasker did not occur to me. I'll have to check into what I can do with it. Mostly its about separating work and non-work alerts and counters.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

Glad I could help. That thread is typical of the attention and input the developer gives users.

AquaMail is just a really good client with really good support from the developer. The developer of MailDroid does a good job of support too, but I prefer the AquaMail UI.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what is your favorite email app?

Wondering why nobody here talked about Mailwise. I tried some and that's my mailbox client for Exchange, Hotmail and Gmail. It even has an option to bypass Exchange security that forces me to use a pin.

Put mail wise on my tablet recently. Not bad but it is missing a manual only mail sync. I want my mail program to only download mail on request. If you tell mail wise not to sync on a schedule, the ability to sync manually gets disabled.
