Roll back to 2.1?

I've done the manual 2.2 update and it seems my phone is running very sluggish. I've done everything I can, resets, task killer everything. So I'd like to try rolling back to 2.1 then taking the OTA 2.2 update. Does anyone know where/how I can roll back my phones OS? Any help is greatly appreciated, I really should just root the bloody thing again ><

I think you have to track down the SBF and use RSDLite.

I had a sluggish phone (at times ) after the update. Traced the processor at 100% and upto 600 mhz. something was not happy inside. I broke down and did a hard reset (even flashed the update again from a new file). added many of the apps back one at a time. skipped the most apps with Widgets. (Pure, Fancy, calendars)
Big difference. its smooth and fast now!

Ugh.... I have seen some weirdness from the 2.2.... Was contemplating a reset... Really don't wanna.... Even ditched some widgets and my cool green smoke wallpaper. Seemed to help. Still a bit wonky...
