Where can I find that Kernel? I tried looking around online and I tried looking on Scottsroms website. Any ideas?

Exact it from the ROM. I think flash gui has this option. Or just pull the boot.img from the zip you downloaded.

See. This is where stuff confuses me.

I only know how to flash a zip through recovery. Not sure how to install the boot.img.

Also, is "Boot.img" the kernel?

Very confused.

So newboyx

I can basically take the boot.img from the cleanrom folder on my desktop, drag it onto the root folder of my phone. flash the boot.img via Flash GUI and I'll revert back to that kernel? Is that correct? That's all I would have to do?

Can I flash the boot.img the same way I'd flash a .zip in the Flash GUI app? Is there any special way to flash within the app since it's a .img and not a .zip?

Flash GUI should see it on your sd card.

Well...

Flash GUI see's the bcblend kernal because I downloaded that from the ROM UPDATER within Cleanrom 2.9.5. However, the BCBLEND KERNAL is a .zip file.

The BOOT.IMG kernel is tucked away within the Cleanrom-2.9.5.zip file. So when I open up FLASH GUI it only finds the cleanrom2.9.5.zip.

Can I just flash the entire cleanrom 2.9.5.zip within flash GUI? By doing that will it flash the boot.img kernel?

using cleanrom 3.0 preview, but for a few revs now mail account does not sync and update at the specified intervals during peak or nonpeak times. The mail only updates when I hit sync all on the widget or when I open the mail app. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I can't get the file to completely download, it times out at 23.1MB every time I have tried to download!

I finally was able to get flash cleanrom but i run into a few isues. Wifi, 4g , Wireless Teather and the Camera do not work.

For Wifi and 4GI installed Flash Image GUI. Then click on kernal Image and browse for the CleanRom zip. Let that run and reboot but no luck.

I have not researched the other 2 issues yet.

Do this
Go here CleanFLASH 1.0 - Downloads - Scott's ROMS
Download the CleanFlash Tool
Open the CleanROM zip using 7zip (or other zip archiver)
Locate the boot.img inside the ROM
Copy it to the same folder as the CleanFLash tool on your PC
Follow the instructions for flashing a boot.img using the CleanFlash Tool
