First of all, nice ROM. Installed flawlessly and everything seems to be working fine. That is until Google started trying to restore all of my apps. I keep getting an error that there is insufficient space on the device. I have 2 gig on the SD card and 1 gig on the phone. It does that for all apps I try to load. It did load the first few apps no problem so I cleared some stuff out on the SD card to be sure, but I continue getting the error.

I had the same problem. You are having this issue only after the first install right? I just went and re-downloaded them all again. (gave me a chance to get rid of a few anyway). Android Market remembers all the apps you had on your phone. This only happens the first time. I had all of mine stored on my PC with free a program called Android sync manager wifi? I use Appbrain to keep track and it wouldn't let me install anything even after a reboot. I tried through Appbrain and through the market and I kept getting the same error. I went back to stock rooted for now, I'll mess with this tomorrow while I watch some football.

Go into manage applications clear data and cache for the market.

Tried clearing data and cache for the market, rebooted and cleared it again. Still no love. I keep getting the same error. Checked it and I have 900 megs free on the phone and 2 gigs free on the SD card.

Rebooted, pulled the battery, cleared cache and data again and now I am able to install apps! Looking good so far.

Worked darn well, but I can't update Profile or PRL. Why?

Edit: Never rebooted after the first flash. Guess a reboot fixed it.

I am having a heck of a time getting doubleTwist's AirSync app to work on my CleanROM 2.8. I am going through the troubleshooting guide for this app and one step is to ping my phone. My pings from my PC always fail. My phone is apparently rejecting pings. That may or may not be ok, but is there any sort of firewall running on this phone? I am trying to find out why the doubleTwist program on my PC can't communicate with the AirSync app on my phone. I have sought technical support from doubleTwist, but in the meantime I'd like to ping you guys since this is a custom ROM. Maybe there's something funky about it regarding WIFi network behavior.

recently moved from my trusty optimus to an evo 3d, loving cleanrom. good work as usuall scott!

just installed twrp 2.0 and damn it's so much faster making backups!

There is a text message bug I noticed. When I try to text message a group, it wants to send it to both their phone number and their email address as destinations. Ex: I want to text message Group A w/ Bob, Gina & Tim. I click write message, type in group name. When expand to view who it's going to, it lists that it is sending to Bob's phone & Bob's email (same with Gina & Tim)

I am about to move back to stock because this is killing one of the best features Sense supports. Text messaging to groups you created in Gmail Contacts on a computer. >_<)

just came over from the epic 4g and flashed 2.9 last night. had no issues flashing (hboot 1.5, TWRP), and it's been working like a champ all day. noticeably faster than stock with all the bloatware/spyware/carrier IQ removed. can't really comment on the battery since i have been messing w/ it literally all day, but it seems to be at least the same if not a little better. all apps/radios/functions seem to be working exactly as they should be so far. just wanted to say thanks for the awesome ROM, keep up the great work, and i'll definitely shoot a donation your way once the old bank account recovers from the holidays
p.s. i saw you put this ROM out for the evo 4g also, so i guess i can finally root my dad's phone like he's been hassling me to. thanks again man, your work is greatly appreciated!

I tried searching through this thread but couldn't find anything related so sorry if this is has already been answered.

I recently installed CleanROM and everything seemed to be working fine but today when using my GPS (both Telenav and Google Nav) there was a considerable lag a lot when updating my location. Everything was working fine pre-flashing and all my other radios seemed to be working so was wondering if anyone had ideas
