This rom seems to be running great. My only complain ' which I can't really complian about to you" is data2ext isn't working. anyone else tried?

I have link2sd (same idea) and it works fine. The trick is to try the different partitions until it sees the files. I had to reboot a few times and had to redo the widgets.

I just tried it and i dont have any issues

I observed this manifesting at times... where I'd launch the camera app, and let the phone "hibernate" for some chunk of time... then turning it on would cause havoc... until I exited the camera app....

This doesn't impact pictures captured with the camera app... Just what you see on the screen...

Flashed to two daily use Optimus with Hydro Kernel, running at 748 on demand. Have had Foursquare FC a few times, but that has happened to me on multiple handsets. Nothing interesting to report which is a good thing.

Sometimes my phone takes up to 20 seconds to come out of sleep, any clue why that is? Only happens on this ROM. I'm using hydrokernel if that counts for anything.

295? That's an odd ball #. If that's a true figure, that might be your problem. Run 245.

I've seen that happen in the stock ROM as well actually.

I haven't see in it in the stock rom, just the custom ones. But what is causing that, it's really annoying when I can't access my phone for like 30 seconds. Also my low clock is at 245, and is noop better than sio on this phone?


Also so it's not sounding like im a total whiner, your hydro kernel is top notch drew.

Ok, try upping your low clock to 320 then. If your experiencing this every time you try to turn your screen on, then something else is going on here. What are you using to control cpu?

Everything is working ok but data is occasionally spotty and sometimes I have errors
sending SMS messages, other times it works ok.

I've used Nicks Roms, CM7, etc, and done a lot of flashing on this phone.

If I want to do a reset with the ##786# sprint code, do I need to stock recovery?
Or will this work with the Xionia recovery installed since this is a stock rom?

Yes I believe you will need stock recovery as it is (again I believe) equivalent to a data reset from the privacy menu.

I'd like some help or advice here: I have my Optimus S rooted (using Sons of Korhal; nothing else worked). Running Gingerbread 2.3.3 (which is why only Sons worked for rooting for my phone), but, after a recent update my other stuff looks odd: my software version is LS670ZVJ...but my baseband is LS670MVJ_6150. I JUST got my paws on the new Xionia recovery and it doesn't present the option to make a backup or Nandroid. I would like to get my paws on one of these nice ROMs, especially if there's an ICS-based one around...what can I do!?

ICS ROM is kraven's cold as ice, however, you will have to downgrade to zvd (baseband). You seem to be currently running zvj, though I can't tell whether or not you are rooted.

Strange. My phone's acting pretty stupid now. Turns out that I wasn't rooted anymore, which is bizarre since Superuser and AppInstaller are BOTH still on the phone. SO, I naturally went to root it again; and for all intents and purposes, it was successful...except when I went to check something out (Zenonia 3 zen cheat via Hex Editor, phone HAS to be rooted to access the necessary folders) to make sure it had taken effect, IT STILL WASN'T ROOTED. And just before I attempted to root again, I got some stupid error message saying it couldn't establish a wireless data connection...which is bizarre since I can only use wi-fi anyway. (no actual network service) I have no idea if this means I should just remove my memory card (where almost every app that can be stored ON the card IS) and do a factory reset or what, though. It's baffling and quite annoying...
