Yeah, I totally thought this was totally a bug free alpha upon using bro. I simply stated that I was one of the people who went back to CM7 because of the issues are bad enough to NOT be usable to even screw around with for fun. I was just giving him my experience from a non dev to help him decide if he wants to pull the link because of the issues. People's idea of a daily driver varies per individual. I would take this from in front of my computer to use for a few days outside when he fixes the phone fcs.

Jesus, these android development forums. Honestly, I was quite surprised to how much actually DID work aside from the phone fcs.

My issues with alpha 2 are mostly wifi related. It will only work for a few minutes and then it shuts off and won't come back until I reboot. 3g just isn't happening but I know its an ICS issue. Also most of my calls get dropped almost instantly and texts are sending maybe one out of 3 times. I've flashed it with and without ICScream kernel but the issues persist. Good progress so far though, never would have expected this so soon after the first ICS alpha.

Okay guys, I've been going at this from a wrong angle. I didn't think that the build.prop from the original MIUIv4 was that important, but it is a HUGE component. What I need to do is put the original build.prop in there and make it match our phones. Now I can make phone calls without the huge FC. Look for Alpha 3 soon

Also, I'm now building from TeamCooper's MIUIv4 over at the Galaxy Ace, and it seems they have some nice edits, and they are up to date all the time.
This is starting to look real good for this ROM

And even fixed that little glitch when going home from a few apps

Here is the dealio..this is a forum not a bug tracker so if somebody is monitoring the thread closer than you or anybody else (ie read every damn post) Im sure they can give input if something is been reported or not. If you want the devs to respond to every post then you need to pay his wages at his regular job.

But your not a dev >.>

So that is something great about AC people helping others. I can say I have first hand acknowledgement from the HNIC here that they prefer community policing instead of having to involve mods. Simply put it doesnt matter like I stated above if he is reading every single post and they appear to be the same bug no reason in not stating its a known issue and being worked on.

gannon glad you're getting more options going. Just remember done overload yourself it leads to burnout.

Thanks for this, people don't seem to see my posts complaining about their complaining.
But don't worry, I won't be burning myself out any time soon. I just happen to be pretty good at porting, and I'm using it to my advantage. When school gets back up, tomorrow, you guys will see significant drops in performance by me.

Must be more to the build.prop.
I could use a little help from a dev, as I don't really know what exactly I need to change for radio
BUT I can say that the build.prop edit fixed the phone FC
