[ROM][4.19.2011] Das BAMF 1.5

Im still wondering if there has been a fix to the wireless tether for the remix, or am i the only one having issues? I went back to my old Rom and have had no issues???

Here is the wireless tether fix.

[11:16] <@Adrynalyne> flash remix

[11:17] <@Adrynalyne> delete system/bin/sh
[11:17] <@Adrynalyne> and rename system/bin/sh0 to system/bin/sh
[11:17] <@Adrynalyne> and reboot

[11:17] <@Adrynalyne> Thats all that need be done
[11:17] <@Adrynalyne> thats it

Worked like a champ for me!

Just flashed his newest kernal as of 4-14-11, 4.4.2 on top of remix 1.4 and have been using Tbolt a few hours and battery has bearly even dropped, feels very nice all around! I'll test more tomorrow! Coming from X this ROM and kernal thing gets addicting!

Hey did you flash that new kernel the same way as detailed here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/thu...-backup-restore-install-roms-thunderbolt.html

The reason why i ask is because on his post for the kernel it says this:
"Remember, clear data on setcpu and then reboot. Then auto detect frequency again." so it kind of confused me. I mean i have flashed a ROM before but what he says confuses me.

Thanks fellow Arizonan

I just used ROM manager, I installed in on SD card and ran it. Didn't do the wipe/clear part. Has been doing great on Remix 1.4 with this kernal!

Hey folks,

Sorry I neglected this thread so much.

We have 1.5 and ready to ship as soon as we get the green light.

Highlights:

New build, 1.13.605.7
Fixed GPS
Fixed 3G/4G switching.
A bunch of other fixes.

Right on. I have tried pretty much all of the other TB ROMs, but I keep on coming back to yours. Turns out I like Sense, and you do it right! One of these days I'll get around to kicking you a few bucks to support the cause.

Ok that was exactly the way i did it before. Then i read that part and thought maybe i should wipe. So now i know i can do it either way atleast. I just want to know when you back up via rom manager and then restore after wiping and flashing a kernel. It restores what exactly? Thanks

When 1.5 comes out can we just wipe the two caches and flash 1.5 over 1.4? Or do we have to clear data too?

Rosie now remaps "personalize" button to Rosie Settings in app drawer, launchkey removed but can still be installed and utilized via Rosie Settings to launch an 8 item menu (1.4)

Can someone clarify this for me. It's not registering, ha. What was the launch key and how can I get an 8 item menu? Thanks for any help.

You can just wipe cache partition and dalvik cache, then flash the rom over 1.4, but make a backup in case there are any issues.

I just got done rooting and installing Remix 1.4... So far so good, excited to see what 1.5 gonna bring.

Question... do I need to flash the radio update first before flashing 1.5? TIA!
