still changes every so often though.

Hey Landshark, did you get the SOD issue resolved?
It's only been about 12 hours since I completely wiped my phone and used the formatter. So far no SOD and phone seems to be running pretty fast and smooth. Had a weird thing happen where my homescreens were blank with no icons right after waking up the phone, but they came back after about 5-10 seconds. Will know more after a few more days. Also I'm keeping the voltage settings low for now:
sio
1000 -25
800 -25
600 -50
400 -50
200 -50
I'm thinking I will try the formatter as well so I can get a nice clean install. I might just wait until KB 2.0 since that is right around the corner. I'm running a stock voltage kernel right now and no more SOD so I'm hoping I can clean up my SOD issue so I can undervolt.

since I flashed 1.3 my reception is shotty on 30-40% of my calls. I end up hanging up and dialing back and usually have better luck.
Others experiencing this? Any remedy?
How do you know there will be un update to ComRom soon? You are not the only one I have seen making that comment so I wonder what is it that you know? when can we expect it? what would it be updated? You got me curious.
I follow the thread the over at XDA. 2.0 is supposed to go out for testing this Wed or Thurs last I heard so we should be seeing it soon.
Hey Shark!
I see your out here right now and got a quick question, I took the plunge and did you ODIN load about an hour ago. Is the anything else I need to do? (i.e. cache/dalvik, etc)
Mike
So not just 1.4 but all the way up to 2.0? Must be some big changes in store.
I gave comm rom a try today and am just wondering exactly what was the thought behind the swype keyboard overlay with the "tsm" stuck in there in bright white and the letters all goofy spaced? This is the worst keyboard I have ever set eyes on, I would rather go back to my blackberry storm portrait mode qwerty keyboard... And then I find out that the broken stock email app was used (no signatures) which is the icing on the cake. I am trying to like this rom since it seems to be the only well tested thing out there right now, but so far I am ready to go back to stock. And why won't the clock un-hide (with as much sense as making "hidden" the default is...)
Yep, nitsuj17 listed some of the upcoming changes in the thread at XDA. Lots of changes and even a whole new thread with a different layout to handle as many FAQ's as possible.
1: hiding/changing clock color has been discussed at length already...its an amazing feat to have that built in at all, regardless of how you feel about its quirks
2: blame samsung for email.apk, not us...we didnt change anything about it sans some images
3: the themed swype was made by gunnermike and he asked to include it in 1.3 so we did, there was a revert flash on xda (dont know if it was posted here)..in 2.0 it will be back to the 1.2 version
4: for those with issues, logcats are required to address specific concerns
5: its easy to criticize the things you dont like about a rom/kernel/theme/mod...but until you have actually tried to do any of this on your own...yeah....always easy to be an arm-chair quarterback
Do you have a link to the thread?
Thanks
Gonna let the os settle in before I get cute..Nope, you're good to go unless you want to change things here and there such as the kernel, launcher, etc.
