Visual Voicemail Installed on Community ROM v1.2
ClayR: I found a link here to the application installation... browse down to "Stock Samsung ED01 Apps." Under that you will find the Visual Voicemail Download link. Once downloaded all you have to do is use CwM to install it. Here's the steps I used to get it on my phone.
1. Save the zip file to the SD card in a location where it can be found.
2. Reboot in to CwM Recovery (my version is 2.5.1.x)
3. Perform a backup of your phone (just in case and strongly suggested)
4. Go down to install ZIP from SDcard
5. Choose zip from sdcard
6. Browse to file and choose yes to install it.
7. Reboot your phone and you're done.
After that I had Visual Voicemail reinstalled on my phone!
I will let you know that I'm no genius when it comes to flashing and have found out a lot of what I know through the school of hard knocks... so do this at your own risk. It worked for me, but I have no idea what will happen with everyone else's phone. Good luck!

After installing this ROM I had very odd problems from very short battery life (5hrs), random system crashes/reboots, to writing to the SD card failing then freezing system. After doing allot of testing I hunted the problem down to the Voltage Control module. I never made any changes nor did I ever turn it on outside of just opening it once to see what it was. Because of this I'm thinking that on some systems it starts by default. Once I forced closed and cleared out all setting of the Voltage Control module my battery life has increased where I can get through nearly two days without having to recharge and the system crashes/reboots have stopped.
Based on the above, is there a way to completely remove this module? And also where can I find the Verizon Visual Voice Mail module? I've tried Google Voice but I find the Verizon module easier.
