Yep if there wasn't a kernel you should be ok.. There isn't any real reason to go back to stock edo1 though..

This worked, this is what I did:
1- deleted exchange account in the phone
2- deleted data from calendar app and calendar storage (both under settings/applications)
3- fashed calendar patch (installs an unthemed calendar from TW)
4- booted phone and added back exchange account.

Seems to be syncing fine and now I can add events directly in the phone with no FC.

Ibrenes, I just tried this out and didn't have any issues..

There may be a bug with the Rom and Google Sync..I have sent some logcats to adry so he can look things over.

Some fixes in the mean time would be to try to clear your calendar data...redownload and reflash the patch..then resync your data..

The tw calendar is themed with this rom..should be black..if it looks othewise, you probably have a remnant from an old theme, or Rom and need to either reflash your Rom or try wiping data.

If you restored calendar data from a backup app, like My Backup Pro, or TiBu that may also give you problems.. I had issues last night when restoring app data from mybupro.

Unfortunately, the only fix for that that I now of is to wipe data/fr in cwm..

Glad you figured it out!! Check out the calendar app Jorte in the market. It's super sweet..really nice widgets! Very customizable..

Yeah well I wasnt sure why the debugging thing wasnt working.....once I flashed the stock ED01 it was working again. I did take your advice and am trying to just go straight to 1.3. Hopefully it takes this time. If not I may try redownloading the ROM, possibly received a bad download. Thanks for all your help though buddy

I tried flashing 1.3, and once again no debugging....frustrating, but I will just try and redownload the 1.3 ROM

littlwing16.....good news buddy, once I reflashed 1.3, forgot to check the TSM settings, went in and changed to ON and all is good once again. Thanks again for all your help and patience

He's refering to a theme. It wouldn't change your Rom, just the way it looks.
It's completely reversible by creating a backup in CWM prior to flashing the theme.

nah i havent had any issues with mms. Sometimes it just take a hella of a long time to send. like forever. Only issue i have with it now is that after flashing nitros theme I cant see names of people i want to send to when i start to type there name out cause the color is black on black. Thats my only gripe about his theme as well other than that it is awesome btw.

I poked around a bit and couldn't find a solution. I don't have the Spanish language available as an option for my Swype Languages anymore.

Any way to add it back in? I did a quick search on the Swype website and didn't see anything there either.

I'm not fluent, in Spanish or Android, though I like to speak a little of both now and then,,,,

If I can sneak my wifes phone out of her site for a bit, maybe I can dig around in there a bit.

Yah the black on black is really annoying and happens with email as well. Data works as well to send them.

im not sure it works with just wifi on...

i tried with data on, and it sent... but not with just wifi. Is yours like that as well?

I've been running v1.3 for about 24 hours now, and I've unfortunately had a significant problem crop up. I've read most, but not all, of this thread and not seen my issue, so hopefully no one has to repeat themselves.

In short, my data connection cuts out, independently of the strength of my cell signal, and it started doing this shortly after I flashed v1.3 over ComROM v1.2. I can't tolerate this, so after my phone finishes charging, I'm going to do a data wipe/reset and reflash the ROM and hope that fixes it. If that doesn't work, I'll revert back to v1.2 unless someone else has a suggestion.

P.S. If it matters, I have the EC01 radio, which is also what I had when running v1.2.

JOr I don't have wifi where im at right now. Not till tomorrow ill check send me a pm tomorrow to remind me. Dyselc, the data thing is a Verizon thing try *228 and option 2 hope that helps.

jOR i was having similar issues and people were receiving @@@@@@@@ about half way through a message i just downloaded the Samsung messaging add-on from the OP and it fixed all my issues i would check that out

Pretty sure the add on is for stock app correct me if im wrong but don't think it helps with handcent.
