You can't delete homescreens with the Stock AOSP launcher. You'll have to download Launcher Pro or ADW or Go Launcher to customize the homescreens.

did you press the little dot in the middle of the color wheel to save the change before you rebooted? I made that mistake : )

I swear I did that, but i tried it again and that worked. lol

I guess I'll b the bad guy and ask I've read and am seeing com rom may be causing the 3g cut out/drop out problems can anyone put this to bed or confirm it after getting a refurbished phone from total 3g loss I've got 3g back and yes I tried every single suggestion from several forums before calling verizon to get a new fascinate so now that its been said else were ill ask here I loved com rom minus small insignificant things but my 3g issue along with many others peoples came upon flashing it im sure alot will ask if I did 228 or esn switch or factory reset or odin to dl09 and ota to froyo ed03 I tried it all and couldnt just sit and go its verizons service alone sorry this is so long just want to get it out there hear some thoughts and decide were I go rom wise once I reroot thanks to everyone that built this rom I loved it ran great for me worried if I should come back to it but I want to

If anyone is interested; I was playing around with the custom colors for the status bar and found that if you set it to #daa8ff00 you will get a green that is pretty close to that of the battery and signal strength bars.

If anyone finds a better match by tweeking it let me know!

I searched but can't find the answer. Is the battery check disabled so I can use an aftermarket extended battery?

There are several kernels that will allow for aftermarket batteries. I am pretty sure that the one included with comrom allows for it, but if not, several others do.

As far as I knew the supposed culprit of the recent 3G outages was verizon techs screwing something up across the entire network when they were trying to do a repair or upgrade to the 4G network. 4G was completely dead during this outage, and 3G has sporatic outages and problems that did not affect all 3G users. Some people posted they actually talked on the phone to some honest vzw tier 2 tech support who provided that information. It just happened to be bad timing that it happened shortly after Comm ROM was released. At least that's what I've been able to piece together from the posts I have read here and at XDA.

ok n00b question everybody. I actually changed my bootanimation.zip to a pretty cool looking superman. I also want to add the superman theme song to my boot animation. I had it working before I flashed to community rom. Is the android_audio.mp3 file somehwere different on this build?

Thanks gunner yea I wasnt sure about com rom it didn't seem right but I did everything I could including the esn but nothing helped my 3g talking to the tier 2 tech they said they could see my 3g drop out everyone I tried to use the internet or anything that used 3g so they told me it was hardware issue that's y i went to the refurb phone I'm gonna probably root and get back to com rom tomarrow this stock phone is driving me nuts thanks for ur info its sounds good to me and my tech said about the same stuff but after trying all the fixes sais its probably hardware thanks again

This ROM will need to be downloaded and transfered to the sdcard on your phone. Boot into Clockwork Mod Recovery and flash the zip file.. This will install the ROM and the kernel..

Wipe of the Dalvik and cache partition is likely needed to prevent some artifacts from the previous ROM from interfering. If you do a full data wipe - Setup wizard sometimes does not work with this ROM.. You will have to set up your accounts via Settings> Accounts & sync..
