[ROM][5.07.2011][ED01]Community Rom V1.3

I thought the option in TSM parts was to display the battery percentage alone. When it is checked to be shown isn't it just a number but it isn't in the battery icon? or am i just really tired

Nope you are right. I'm trying to do too many things at one time

I was gonna wait to see if this stuff gets ironed out, but I can't not update to 1.3 ...I want now!
A Nandroid and Titanium backup will suffice as insurance.

Guys,

Ive had v1.3 for an hour now and have noticed my 3g is constantly going out. Ive never had this issue, any ideas?

Anyone have the Verizon boot down sound come back after flashing 1.3?

Trying to find a referance to that exact question, not sure if I read it here or over at XDA, but I saw people saying something about hearing the boot down sound after this update. I'll edit this post if I find what I'm looking for.

Edit: Sfobrien posted a solution to the boot down sound at the bottom of this page, refer to his post to try that method.

I got this as well, interesting...

Everyone having trouble with the clock not showing up, someone posted the solution over at XDA. I tried it and it worked for me. You have to go into text color, click on the outer circle in the white area, then click the middle circle, back out of there, make sure all the settings are the way you want them in TSM tools, back out of there then reboot phone while it is not plugged in. When the phone reboots you should see the clock and all your settings should be enabled.

I was going to try this after since I was back on 1.2 after having problems with status bar, wanted to see if this would work for me.... I wiped cache 3 times, and d-cache 3 times and it work, status bar was fine, didn't even need to go into the text editor to fix! I experimented anyway, and was able to actually make the clock as close to gingerbread green as I could and it worked!!

Also tried yup see if Fascinate_EnV theme would work, it did not, had problems with status bar again, went back to 1.3 after, I'm guessing the new 1.3 framework won't agree with some themes?!?! Hope this helps someone!!

Yeah it's very well possible that some of the themes will have to update stuff to be compatible with the new version of the community rom to work properly.

I noticed a new Swype theme in 1.3, and though its new and different, I'm not totally thrilled about it. I found that the 1.2 patch had a good Swype theme. Could anyone point me in the direction of finding the .zip file for that theme?

If you have root explorer (or similiar) go to System>Media>Audio>UI then delete the poweroff.ogg file to remove shutdown sound.

Oh alright, yeah that's what I read earlier... Been through so many threads I'm losing track of where I see things lol. Thanks man!

Is anyone having problems with the mobile data? I was, and have now re-wiped, and am uploading the com roms again.....we'll see how round 2 goes......*Fingers Crossed*

I have received a force close error everytime my phone boots up.

"The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." This must be related to making phone calls because I get the same force close message when I click on the phone icon.

Has anyone received this error?

I have installed twice after doing a full data wipe, cache wipe, and dalvik wipe each time and both times gave me the force close error.

The mobile data issue could be related to issues on VZW's end, as issues have been being reported nationwide. It may not be the rom at all, but I do have my fingers crossed as well that that works for you! Just giving you something to consider if it doesn't.

all the problems we're having on Comm Rom 1.3 sounds like SC 2.7 a update will be out to fix everything i hope. there is nothing on my statusbar on both of my phones i already tried TSM parts but nothing works and miui unlock screen makes my phones turn off.

Ok, I downloaded the file again and installed it and everything is working great now.

Yes, that is one thing people may want to consider, the possibility you got a bad download. The file size should be 170mb or 174,129kb. Check to make sure you got the full download.
