I got a smooth flash and boot straight from Monolith B1 this time. Whatever he saw in it, it's fixed...

Re: [ROM][3/18/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Yeah. Nearly had a heart attack--boot animation lasted a good 4 minutes. Market Restore is finished, now to theme it.

Re: [ROM][3/18/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I flashed Monolith B1 yesterday without issue. I really like this rom... I oc'd it to 1350 and it's running extremely well and is very quick. I think I'm going to sit on this one for a few days and tweak it a bit. I had been running AOKP previously. Good stuff... :)

Just got time to flash v13 ha now to get it set back up like I like it :)

I don't know if anyone else did, but I had some issues getting the weather to show up in the notification bar in V13. Basically it wasn't working, I toggled weather on/off several times with no luck. I changed the location to above carrier text and that got it working. Other than that V13 is running well so far.

Re: [ROM][3/18/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I saw 1-2 posts in a Hive thread that mentioned the same thing. I didn't try it because I had Beautiful Widgets loaded. I don't need many sources of weather living in San Diego. Worst case is that I have to look outside, and it's usually a safe bet it's sun during the day, and stars at night. :)

I am on v13
I read your post and tried it The first time I had it toggled to show in weather panel and it didnt show.
I toggled it as you did to show above carrier text(which is actually changed to my name now , ha) and it showed.
I toggled it back to show in weather panel and it worked that time.
Turned phone off last night , and charged it some .
Turned phone back on and still had it toggled to show in weather panel and it showed,,, without having to toggle it to show above carrier text.:)

I use beweather most times tho .

Ha ha ,,, yeah I thought mine took a lil bit longer to boot up first time , wasnt sure if I just me or not .Since then tho its booted up quick.

Re: [ROM][3/18/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

It may be just me, but I'm noticing a bit worse battery life--at least from 100% to 90%. I'm also using a couple more widgets now, so that might be it ;).

Other than that, good as always!

I was thinking the same thing about battery life.

I have noticed that the AXI0M on the notification window thing is gone, so zero neck and stac (and whomever else I believe voiced hatred at that) can rejoice.

Today was the first day I've had to see what the battery was like because at home I'm usually tethered to an outlet or USB port keeping it charged (kinda hard to test that way). But today under minimal use in two hours this morning I dropped nearly 18%. I did one backup during that time, and sent two text messages. I make it a point to disable WiFi so it won't be searching for it, and GPS while inside, so that's quite a drain for that amount of time. I haven't tried many with my new phone, but this is the second Trinity kernel I've tried, and Franco's seem to play better on mine.

The last build I extensively used--V10--was absolutely brilliant for battery life. Took it to Annapolis for that Irish holiday this weekend and I dropped 16% after 6 hours of searches, texts, photos.

I disable 4G unless I'm hooked up to a charger or know I won't be away from one for long.

Re: [ROM][3/18/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Its been about 4.5 hours I've had it running on it's own, and it dropped another 12% in the past 2.5 hours under hardly any use, so time will tell. I'm not too impressed so far. I don't know what DT is looking for to be jumping back and forth between Franco and Trinity. Based on the overall consensus the efficiency is largely dependent on a phone by phone basis. Some love it, some hate it. In the end I'm not too concerned with battery life, as I'm never away from power for long. I'm more interested in a kernel's durability, speed, and tweaks.

Same here. Only recently (past week) have I been dabbling with battery power, mainly by not plugging it in at work.

My battery life for v13 so far is 12 hrs on battery , screen on 2.5 hrs and currently 28% battery left.

I suppose that's decent enough considering all the flashy stuff these phones have on them. But we'll have to go back to a stable Franco kernel to be able to make a comparison. The updates keep coming too fast to really let these ROMs settle.

Maybe at the end of the day after I can tally my totals I'll flash my favorite Franco R89, and see how that runs (if compatible).

2.5 hrs screen on is really good for LTE and this huge screen. is that with the stock battery?
