New nightlies! Updated yesterday.

The newest release also includes a sweet, sweet boot animation :D.

Any incentives to go CM9 vs AOKP or any of the other roms? I've been on Axiom Crossbreed for weeks and I don't feel much need to switch.

Any big perks of CM9? Any standout highlights?

Well I think they have the best toggles/power widgets, so much so that GummyNex is now porting them over for their own rom.

As far as the others, they don't have as many features, but they're just as stable and efficient. Not to mention the presentation is exceptionally slick IMHO.

New nightlies!

Re: [ROM][3/31/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

Do you need to reboot after flashing the nightly before flashing the gapps or can you do both without rebooting in between?

Re: [ROM][3/31/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

I just download it and it works perfect android version 4.0.4

Since the 3.31.12 update my phone is booting up ridiculously fast! Fastest boot of any rom I've used so far and trust me I've been flashing more than a Scores dancer. :D

Excellent. Have any more features been added?

Re: [ROM][3/31/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

I reverted back to the 3/18 nightly due to the Android OS/Cell Standby battery drain issues when I loaded anything newer. Anyone heard or seen if the 3/31 build resolves that? I am the testbed for the wife, who I recently converted from an iPhone, and I do not want to give her any reason to complain... right now, the battery life is so much better than what she had, I want to keep it in the "clear winner", tigerblood column. :)

Thanks!

I am on B29 and have read that the 3/31 build is really bad on the battery.

Waiting for an April build

BTW, I like your way of thinking with the wife's phone!

Re: [ROM][3/31/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

I'm on the 3/31 build right now. The OS is reporting between 15 and 30 percent battery usage on average, but I haven't noticed much if any difference on battery life. I was on stock 4.0.2 before I flashed this, so I'm not sure if the earlier builds of Cyanogen have improved battery life from stock.

Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

Try flashing francos. His kernel went REALLY nicely with 3/23 and previous builds.

Also, maguro just dropped so I presume toro is right around the corner.

Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

I am on 3/31 with franco 3.0.8 with cpu_1 off when the screen is off and battery is good

I believe there might be. Try looking in RootzWiki or droidHIVE.

Also, wrong thread ;)

Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

After flashing cyanogen and gapps, how can I restore my apps from my stock rom? I used Wug's Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit and did an "apps backup" -- It has the option to restore apps but I'm scared to do that with a different rom installed. Is that the proper procedure?

Thanks!!

EDIT >> Decided to dive right in... did an app + data restore. It's in progress right now. Fingers crossed.

Hope it works out ;). I never restore apps/data, I just let market restore do it's thing.

BTW, I've returned home and am running the 4/4 Toro. Will post the link shortly!
