So u use the oc kernel but use setcpu to keep it at 998 or below. Is that correct? Or should I just remove the oc kernel

Do whatever feels right and works for you. What i do works for me, but theres probably 1,000 other guys who would say they cant live without it being OC'ed.

I personally keep my max at 998, my min at 245, my governor at ondemand. But i have a bunch profiles setup too for things like charging, screen off, different profiles for battery percentages. And i might use a different governor per profile depending on what my goal for that profile is.

Thats the beauty of android. You can make it work for you rather than you work for it. Check out that tutorial linked in post #2 and get familiar with SetCPU and how to use it. Read the FAQ inside of the program, check out the forums because people share what works for them and what doesn't.

Ok I got my whole voicemail app missing problems fixed. I factory wiped and installed 2.4 a 4th time and got it there. Not sure why it didn't show up.

Now I am still having a problem with my location.
Now even when I go to google website, and under the search bar where it shows your location, it can't find my location.

I've tried every type of setting in settings/location and I still can't get it to work.

It seems that I'm missing a driver or something.

Now I can turn GPS on and nav and maps work fine, but google search still won't find my location, nor will beautiful widgets. (I also thought the HTC clock widget automatically found my location)

OK update since my last post.

Now I notice that My Location is not working. Like if I'm on google earth, or google maps, or google search. And if I have the gps off I should be able to hit the My Location button and get a close reading of where I am at from the cell towers triangulation.

But the problems is I'm not.

I did notice when I go to settings/search//google search/ it shows "Use My Location" is checked, but when I tap it, it says this;

And then I have the option to force close or report.

I am getting so frustrated here. Please help me out.

Yeah I have the widgets manually set, but I travel all day, so it's annoying having to change it.

Hey Guys,

When I am connected to wifi i have no issues streaming music from slacker, Grooveshark, Rphapsody. However, when I turn off wifi and using cell towers I am unable to stream music. With Grooveshark it acts like its going to start playing music but then comes back with the error unknown media player. With Slacker, I can't even sign in while on cell towers. And with Rphapsody it just sits there saying its going to play but doesnt while im on cell tower. Any ideas?

Have you tried pandora? i don't really use any of those and don't have evo to try them on but they should work unless im completely wrong.

I just flashed a clean 2.4 full to duplicate and test for this issue. Slacker and Pandora both worked flawlessly for me. I had WiFi off as you said. Tested fine on 3g and 4g. I won't test grooveshark or rhapsody as those are subscription services and I'm not going to sign up for even a free trial (dont want their spam). Also to be thorough, I did a NAND restore back to a 2.4 lite I had and received the same results, both worked flawlessly with great audio quality.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Have you rebooted?

Can anyone else verify Slacker works for them?

This has been a long and crazy process for us so far and we will continue to develop this ROM. As you can see from thread views, this ROM is getting some attention. Our download numbers are skyrocketing! With that said, we need to make some changes for the betterment of the community:

Moving forward, unless you have adhered to the rules for reporting a bug in post #2 we will just be directing you back to post #2 to read so please take the time to do those steps first. Also, please acknowledge that you have actually done the steps if you do end up posting something.

Secondly, this thread is getting a little cluttered and we really want to keep it clean so it doesn't take people a week to read from beginning to end. at the same time there is lots of useful information so we need to ask a favor of each one of you. If you have made multiple posts about an issue, and that issue is resolved, or we have acknowledged it as a bug, please edit your first post and include any relevant information, then delete any subsequent posts relating to the same topic. We will be doing the same for our reply's to help clean house. We may need to reach out and work with a mod if everyone does not do this but we are asking that you let the mods do what they do best and we, as a community, do this ourselves. Thanks in advance everyone.

Lastly, we are hoping that a few other knowledgeable people that run this ROM as their daily driver chime in and provide some assistance to others who may require it. Everyone on the team would like to keep our nose to the grindstone and keep giving you guys what you want but it's becoming more and more difficult. We recognize that one of the things that sets this ROM apart is the great support we all give each other (and the wicked awesome theme/LWP/Tech support clock widget) and we want to continue that. Were looking for a few people to pay it forward. If you see someone report an issue, and that person has followed the rules to report an issue, try to duplicate it and let us know how it goes. Try to assist them in any way with help or suggestions.

Again, we thank you in advance and assure you that this will allow us to keep progressing the ROM which benefits everyone.

-Un-check "Auto Rotate Screen" then the phone punches me in the face.

I've notice an issue with the live wallpaper of the grass that comes with the phone.
As it gets close to sun set, the live paper should change with it to night time.

Well since I went from 2.0 to 2.4 full I have notice the wallpaper sun sets way to early. Like right now it's starting to set, and it's only 4:43 here right now. It shouldn't start doing this for another 3 hours. My time is correct on the phone.

Do you think this may be related to my other issue with location? Or is this something totally different. Please let me know if you want me to check for anything.

Just a little update,we our testing a update that should solve issues with camcorder,gmail,location and should include some updated apps.We don't have a set "eta" but will get it up asap.Thanks.

@ mark once its out,test the grass lwp after the update and let us know,then we can go from there.

Question...As of 8/6 we should be able to remove bloat by going to setting/app/manage...

When I go there the app or widgets that I should be able to remove doesn't give me the uninstall option. It was there before I flashed 2.4 I'm I missing something? None of the bloat gives the option. I know there is the other way but I was just wondering if this need to be addressed.

Before anyone mentions it, Sprint released an updated version of visual voicemail and NASCAR. We have both new apk's and they are included in our next ROM.

- If you want the new NASCAR send a text to 7777 with the word nascar in it
- The visual voicemail is an optional upgrade. Just click cancel because the download will fail. Our next ROM will include it.

Everything seems to be working now, including my location problem.

I have not tested for streaming audio.

Great job guys. Now I have 63 apps to install and test.
