Sweet deal (the journaling). Idk if its the journaling or not that's been causing problems. I just know srf has been nothing but problems- whether its it rom or something I did to it when I customized the framework while theming I'm not sure. Just know srf is the only rom that's been this hard to keep runnning (can't get apps to work, like weatherbug and tapatalk, battery life has been less than ideal. Lots of freezing probles resulting in the hassle of havin to do a battery pull/cwm clear cache). Bonsai is okay, less problems, but idk. Just wasn't super big fan of it. (Honestly I want a stable version of gingerbread to play with ever since I got cm7 on my tablet.. but as long as my phone is stuck on froyo.. I can't think of a better rom than ACE. 2.0 will be awesome). Am I gonna have to go full ec05 or will eb13 (deodexed ext4) + ec05 modem work?

EB13/EXT4 with the EC05 modem will work.

ok, so a little off topic, but how can I get the Clock app that this ROM uses? (with stop watch, timer, and world clock) I've tried searching but can't find anything.

Scodoublet who did the wallpapers, you can find his wallpaper threads in the General section of the forum.. Look under wallpapers.. He has a few threads and one of them has those in it.

Take your time Paul.

As has been your motto, there are too many ROMs released too early, necessitating a lot of backend updates.

The support for ACE is due to your diligence and commitment to create a rock solid and reliable ROM. That takes time and space in which to work. Don't feel pressure.

I look forward to a full scrub/wipe and clean install of the new ACE 2.0, only when it meets your high standards. Cheers!

ahhh such a tease! the blacked out links already written in on post 1. i checked this thread to see if it was out yet and got all excited till i tried to click them.

although the waiting will be worth it.. knowing that you don't rush release and make sure the bugs are worked out first is way better than getting a rushed release wrought with bugs.

If your already on EB13/EXT4 then you can flash the ROM, all you need is the EC05 modem to flash and your good to go.

YouTube videos can be very helpful to newer folks ( like me ) ... I used them several times ( plus reading forums ) to help me out over the past 2-3 weeks as I was getting my first taste of "R&R" ***Rooting and ROMing***
