ROM ALERT: Baked Snack v1.6 [update6]

A couple members on XDA were saying they were getting FC's with the calendar and music player disc mode.

I'm using the Baked Snack v1.6 Step 1 kernel with Baked Snack v1.5 ROM.

Same here, there were some corrupt launcher pro apks in the rom, so when you apply any theme it fixed the issue. I installed early am and haven't dropped below 80% and had over 45 minutes of radio use!

ill give it a shot. especially since im at school - there download speeds kick my computers ass at home.

Hero made not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 kernels for this ROM!

Each one has a different voltage. The "works for all" kernel I think is stock or close to stock voltage. Then the voltage goes down from there: babystep kernel, step 2 kernel, and ultimate kernel. My Epic is extremely happy with the ultimate kernel @1.2GHz (could never get 1.3GHz to work on any of his kernels).

Stupid question, but how do I know I have the correct kernel? I tried installing Ultimate. It says my Kernel version is 2.6.29 and build number is SPH-D700-Baked-Kernel-Undisputed-Ultimate.

Apparently the Ultimate kernel runs perfectly on my phone with everything except games. Froze with the first Angry Bird I shot. Gonna try dialing it back with Step 2.

If it's true and I have the ultimate kernel, then even Angry Birds is working fine with me. I had some problems with the music player though.

Epics vary slightly from one to the other - I think Herver got a really good one as he seems to be able to running crazy low voltage and high CPU speeds.

Just got removed off of XDA damn mods, apparently they overlook Devin not giving Hero credit for using his 1.4Ghz step. Either way, I guess I waited too long :/ all the links on XDA are down

I know it'll be on the bakedsnackshack site soon, but I was planning on trying the ROM/Kernels tonight and missed them on XDA. Does anyone have the zips that they can post?

BS is definitely the best ROM/kernel I've ever run - although I'll probably install Froyo this weekend just for the heck of it.
