Flashing yourself? Kinky.

...yeah. I apologize for that in advance.

lol ... Man I love me some baked snack, but so far this is much smoother than andromeda and significantly smoother than BS 1.4 ... granted I did data backup on all three .. but it's nice to know you can do a data backup and get it to work.

Newbie Question

Did you put this pn a Fascinate? It looks like it is for an Epic. Also, what do you like about it? Is it for the extremely technically talented or will it just make the phone more user friendly and versatile? I want the Google stuff back ont he phone and some of the other add-ons they did look interesting.:p

this is a rom built for the epic. idk what your talking about fascinate - they put the music player from the fascinate in this rom which im glad about.

but i like the rom for the most part. im only keeping the kernel for the frame rate cap. hopefully someone else will include this in their work

I hope I'm not the last one to realize this - but this ROM was made by the team who claimed the last version of Tha Boss ROM was actually their ROM but stolen and renamed. Good to see they're up and running again.

Drama everywhere ... 1.0.1 is now out though

haha yeah i found that out a couple days ago.

i sent that guy a pm on xda and he said he was going to be coming out with new work in the next couple days.
but i was not expecting all this

Alright, after I patched over to the new update, this ROM and Extreme Kernel post update definitely blows Baked_Snack out of the water.

Flashing the superslim rom left me with a hanging bootimage that is also left when I try restoring my backup ( it should NEVER have touched my backup)

Time to see how well I know my phone, I need to download dropbox, set it up, transfer a new ROM over and flash that using only a 1/3 of my screen.

Oh and btw the Syndicate superSlim rom was also nice enough to prevent me from mounting onto my pc

What a challenge they have given me

I AM NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM BASHING/RIPPING ON THE DEV OR THE TEAM. I just advise people NOT to dl SuperSlim until the problem has been addressed

There was an updated version released today - perhaps you'd have more luck with that one.

Have fun, working great here!

Got it working !

Trick is to download the normal one and flash another kernel over Xtreme if you so choose. Slim still has problems despite what the changelog says

yeah i think the problem is the kernel stays after you backup. i think that happened to me earlier. although i use the fully loaded one.
i like some of the touchwiz stuff etc. really theres no purpose in having it any slimmer unless you have a slew of apps but i dont.

and i think i read the problems are mainly with the slimmed down version if i recall correctly. but i could be wrong as i didnt care about any other one but the fully loaded.
check it out in their post on xda i think i read it correctly though
