Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

No you don't get any honors for that... but... I now present tdm's OV with the purple heart... maybe we should call it the purple processor for androids wounded in battle.

I agree.

Here you go TDM, wear it proudly!

See thekraven's posts in the ics repo thread.

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

I'm running this right now and its great. Will be using this as my daily. 3G data didn't work at first, but that was fixed by turning airplane mode on and off, followed by turning mobile data on and off, as suggested by others.

A few things I've come across that aren't working quite right:
- voice input (at all)
- adding Facebook as an account under 'accounts & sync' (don't know if this is the apps problem)
- gallery tends to crash 80% of the time when cropping photos for BG use.

Minor stuff though. So far, great. Keep up the good work!

Until they update the facebook app. You can still sync contacts using a 3rd party tool. The name escapes me though.

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

i use haxsync works great.
but tdm are you still doing the aokp build?

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

Finally got CM9 to build again after syncing to their current code. But it is having problems starting up. Need to investigate and fix this before releasing the next alpha, obviously.

thekraven was gracious enough to send me his fixes for this. So I've almost got a functional build again. The only issue I can see right now is the home key -- for some reason it's acting like a select or something. I had the same issue with my CM9 build for another device, so perhaps CM changed something. I'm sure I'll get it figured out soon at any rate.

So I am guessing I'll have an alpha8 next Mon/Tue or so (with the current GingerKernel, not the ICS kernel).

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

tdm do you happen to have this file: out/target/product/thunderc/obj/SHARED_LIBRARIES/camera.olympus_intermediates/LINKED/camera.olympus.so?
I need it for building and my repo isn't wanting to build it.

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

I really like this rom everything minus the camera preview is working fine on mine even been getting 3g when not on a local network. My phone runs so much smother on this rom than any of the others i have tried so far thank you so much for your time and effort.

So am I just blind? Is there any setting to speed up the scroll speed on cm9. I'm so used to scrolling fast with cm7. Am I missing something? Thanks
