I flashed alpha10 3 times, but for some reason there are no gapps. Maybe it was a bad download or something?

The gapps comes. Zip. Md5 I found an older gapps and am going to try that and yes I've been flashing roms for at least 2 years I've just never seen an mdr at the end of the zip

Anybody had issues with CM9 freezing? I have completely wiped and reflashed literally about 30 times and just can't get it right. Its not just alpha 10 either. Its pre 3 and pre 1 now also. I cann't for the life of me figure it out. I had no problem like this at all with pre 1 or pre 3, and now even they are smackin me. Is there something anyone has added to it to help it out any? I'm guessing memory issue? Now Im actually wondering if it's not my phone because like I said now I have the same issue with other versions that never did this. Not giving up on it...just need help getting it working again.
When I posted the reply It went to the thread not the message.

I had that problem before with a bad SD. I was using IHO. It started with a lot of freezes and then I couldn't read or write to the card. I also couldn't take pictures. It said that there wasn't any memory left.
Even using it directly on an Ubuntu or windows PC I couldn't format the card. I got a new one and it solve my problem.

You have to download gapps separately from here on out. Per forum and Google's rules.. the kravens gapps posted in the op work just fine

alpha10 (final) is up. Check the OP. Changes:

* Fixed line endings on hosts file.
* [aokp] Added ADB over network.
* [aosp] Fixed su.
* [aosp] Enabled sip/voip.

And the big one...

* Removed gapps due to forum rules.

I was willing to take the heat for including this. But I just became aware of the AC forum rules that forbid it, so my hands are tied. Additionally, all previous binaries have been destroyed and are no longer available.

The OP has a link to gapps recommended by thekraven. This is a stripped version which should fit well on the phone. Thanks to arnold1997 for pointing this out.

Like this? Every time he posts a build he does one.

Hey tdm, I wanted to ask you:

I am running the latest cm9 version, and I went to reboot the phone and before it fully booted it said "android is updating, please wait". No bricks, everything is working fine, just wanted to ask what that was all about. Lol.

I personally think CM9 pre3 has more stability than 10f.... I have had 3 reboots just trying to set my phone up in the past 10 minutes.

Its an ics thing. It will do it every time you clear dalvik. Gb did it also, it just didn't tell you it was doing it. Its just recon figuring your apps to accommodate any changes

Reformatted the sd again, this time with the phone. That seemed to clear up the majority. Only thing that is really giving me a problem now is with TiBu. Seems to be when the phone freezes or shuts down the majority of the time.
