uot sometimes cooks the theme wrong... this could be a factor... im a bit confused by your post... uot theme goes onto sd>boot to recovery>wipe cache>wipe dalvik>flash uot.zip>reboot... if you get a bootloop after doing this, remake the theme and try again... and your sure you dl'd the theme that you made?...

I believe it's like a phone but costs 8x as much and its restricted in what you can do with it. But, its really shiny and the UI is pretty.

COld as ice has the sense layout, and honestly I don't like it at all. Its kinda a pain since not as many apps fit on the recent apps screen in that layout

Yeah I was just thinking that, I saw it on one of the Triumph's CM9 ROMs. Although it looked to be a little laggy, maybe the V's processor can't handle it. Would like to see it though

Its all the iPhone really has over Android, a smooth UI. But with ICS, android now has a smooth UI.

I'd rather have a phone that I can do anything with, not just w/e apps I want to install, but w/e recovery, kernel, ROM, system libs, and apps I want

Its not really the price I see as the worst point of the iPhone. You just can't do anything to it without Apple going ape poop.
