I have not had most of the issues you guys describe so far on M5. The signal strength seems to be a bit shaky but It is super fast and smooth. I can say is this Faux Kernel is giving me sick battery life as well. Im at 16 hours standby, 2 hours on screen and 49% remaining. usually i am in the 20's with the same stats on francos kernel. I have some more testing to do, but so far it seems to be working out well.

Franco's latest milestone says it has merged the changes, and when on M5 for the day I was on it it was fantastic.

Gotta agree with you. The included faux is good battery for sure. Nothing scientific, but seat of the pants.

Nevermind... I guess you have to enable powersaver for it to work. You can enable it but you also have to enable powersaver too My bad

Flashed M5 this morning and everything seems fine not having any issues with signal or anything else. Still to early on battery life but I'll be sure to keep an eye on it.

Not sure on this. It works for fine for me, but I'm using light flow. Try downloading that if problems continue.

Anyone else notice all volumes seem to be much lower then any other build I've tried? Did use volume+ to increase the volume and it seems to be helping.

BT is much lower for me....A LOT lower....and of course the crappy speakerphone.

I noticed with build #34 that I have to hit call end twice to end a call.
Didn't have this issue with #33. Have it with MS 5 though.

I noticed there was some..."lag"...when hanging up. I know the AXI0M build I'm on is supposed to improve the lag between picking up and the call connecting, but have no idea if it works in the reverse.

Yeah. New build was released yesterday; I have to update one of the threads b/c the dev essentially abandoned one project (MORPHR), after abandoning two other projects (Crossbreed/Patient Zero), and is now focusing on two projects (lol) (CMPLX, his own rom; "Kang Station," which is his rom + a package of goodies from AOKP, CM9, etc.).

I like it a lot. Slew of "little" things that makes my cold, black lawyer heart warm and slightly fuzzy.

I borked the lockscreen section of ROM control in M5. I wiped cache and dalvik, but did not format system, then dirty flashed on top. Didn't fix it. Then I ran fix permissions as a hail mary, and didn't fix it. I'm about to do a complete wipe and reflash, but was wondering if anyone else has run into this and fixed it. I JUST got everything right where I like it.

I borked it by attempting to choose custom icons for the apps I have on the octo unlock screen. While browsing with root explorer, I realized I had forgotten to extract from the images from the apk before choosing the icons. So, wondering what would happen if I extracted while still in the menu to choose... I extracted all of the files from the apk (an adw theme pack). When I hit the back button to continue browsing from there, ROM Control stopped. Hasn't worked for lock screen options since.

Well, no that I found out what happens when you extract an apk while in a ROM Control sub menu... any thoughts?

According to DT, Fix Permissions really does nothing for ICS. IMO, your only solution is to start anew--or flash CMPLX .

Yeah, I already knew it supposedly didn't do anything... but I hail maried it anyway, lol

I started dl'ng CMPLX, but canceled it. I don't like red, and as small of an issue as it is, I don't think I'd be able to deal with that red mute icon. I know, crazy. I think I read somewhere way back that you don't like gray. I feel that way about most colors. Black and gray are my favorites... they aren't even colors. I prefer the absence of color.

CMPLX looks good on features, but I think I'll wait until he drops that AOKP infused one. Plus, the link for the get ready package on the hive is no good. I have the radios, but am still on the 4.0.2 bootloader. I'll flash it at some point. Might wait for the devs to get the official 4.0.4 OTA that supposedly rolled out. It's got the FC02 radios as well.

I'm glad you're enjoying CMPLX though, I know you've been eagerly awaiting something from droidth3ory. Have fun brother!
