[ROM] Android Open Kang Project

I believe the GPS issue is only related to the maguro Galaxy Nexus. Toro Nexus' should be unaffected.

Appears to work.

Looks like your GPS icon isn't showing up. Maps may be getting your location via wifi and cell towers. With O3, I could not get a GPS lock in any app.

Bunch of people in the toro build 38 thread on Rootzwiki confirming that while GPS worked on O2, it's not working on O3.

Yeah, I think I'm sticking with O2. I'm also reading that O3 is having GPS issues on Toro, and unfortunately, I do require the GPS for travel. I really don't want to use triangulation.

I went back to original b38 ... O3 was messing with my phone... I installed gapps but navigation randomly disappeared. Also my temperature was going through the roof, At one point was over 160?F

I'm on build 37. I'm having a problem when connecting my phone via Bluetooth to my Jeep. It won't let me sync my contacts. It tells me the phonebook download is not supported by my phone. But when I was on CNA and stock ROM before that, it work just fine. Is there a setting that I'm missing somewhere?

Wonder if it has something to do with Haxsync...

uninstall haxsync and try...I use a parrot BT and with haxsync installed it takes a bit longer to connect to my explorer sport trac.....anyone have an idea when the next build is coming? I may go bugless for a while.....

somewhat of a dumb question, but for some reason i am doubting myself...

other than wipe cache/dalvik, and wipe, do i need to format /system as well? maybe not release to release, but i dont think i ever wiped when getting on AOKP way back

The AOKP installer formats system as part of the installation process so no need to do that manually.

Technically any AOSP based ROM wipes the old system before installing itself... But, it's nice to do it on your own too, think of it as another chance to eliminate "ghosts in the machine" in your new/updated ROM. I recommend it on every single ROM flash whether you're doing a dirty flash or not.

Ha! Fixed it. Unistalled Haxsync, deleted bluetooth data, re-established bluetooth conection with my vehicle. I then got the pop up asking to allow Uconnect to access my contacts. Then I reinstalled Haxsync. So, there is something up with Haxsync.

I'm about to flash it now. :)

Also, no Linaro in this build.
