No idea why you'd wait. The "nightlies" are stable, sometimes newer features don't work 100% but otherwise the ROMs are rock solid.

Anybody have the game Order and Chaos? Every time I receive a text message (even when I haven't played O&C at all prior), I get a notice that O&C has stopped working. Kinda annoying. I suppose I could try uninstalling and reinstalling O&C, but I hate the idea of having to redownload that 800+MB file.

Never found any build to be "buggy" (save for the Linaro builds which were meant to be test builds for crackflashers and whatnot).

In this world about 99% of 'bugs' people find with ROMs and stuff are the result of user error, bad apps you have installed, not wiping fully, or restoring bad data after you wipe.

I haven't found any bugginess with an official AOKP build in months, and I've flashed all of them.

So I wiped cache/dalvik on saturday. Since then my data bars (wifi, 3g, 4g) have been gray.

What radios are you on? Try flashing the new ones if you don't have them; also try to change kernels.

On top of that, go to settings/accounts, make sure you're synced. Even if you are, unsync then resync your google account.

Grey = no sync.

I've rebooted lots the past 2 days, nothing. I am on the most recent radios francos M4 kernel. I've toggled sync/unsync as well

By the official aokp thread at rootz there's a number of people having four square issues.. However same with people on CM9, leading me to believe it's something on four square's end.... And I have to say it, this falls under the category of "why even run these?" apps, IMO

Valid statement, and I used to think that question. But the reason I personally use foursquare is for the discounts you get for checking in to some places. Whatever helps to save money is fine with me

Thats what I originally thought but I was all over the place this weekend and it never changed.

Though good news, its fixed. I hit unsync, rebooted the phone. Once it booted back up the bars were no longer grey and everything was synced (even though sync was still unchecked), check the sync box and it has been fine.

Well, not just foursquare, but apps like yelp or any other check-in apps have some sort of benefits to them. The only thing I avoid doing is having post to my facebook feed. I hated using these apps at one point, and kind of still do, mainly because they tracked where you're at for the public/friends to see. I simply don't care for that, but then when they add discounts or free stuff like a shot (which is awesome btw, saves you on $10), it's hard to avoid such apps.
