Any idea how to get both the Search button and the multitasking button on the dock?

For Codename try: System settings>Interface>Onscreen controls>Nav.Buttons Config, and choose your preference

I think that I will also stick with M3 and the 15.2 kernel for a while. It's working too well for me so I'll wait for the next Milestone build.

Yeah my phone is totally modded. I like to mash themes together, like I take a dialer from one theme and a calculator from another and install them. I got tons of softkey zips to flash. The amount of mods are sick.

Have you seen the transitions mod? That thing is off the charts!

i havent used that particular mod - but i did flash the psyntist's psynshift mod by itself, and its also baked into unblackedout theme - i like psynflip/psynshift transitions, but they seemed to cause a small amount of lag at this time, not sure why. maybe i should check out this transitions pack

Rubik is my fav, with vortex coming in a close second. This is still blowing my mind 2 days after install.
If you have themed your rom you have to use rom toolbox pro which costs $5 (sux) or the preferred method which is zipthemer. I just discovered zipthemer from that thread and its a great app. It lets you install any mod without tampering with anything else like a theme. Best thing is it works with ANY rom or theme.

didnt flash the phone fix. actually, not sure what its supposed to fix - been doing (mostly) home work all day haha. b22 is good - has the option to add that weather ticker, aside from that its mostly the same as m3.

havent tried cm9 kang either. i like cm9 but since nova and aokp are so solid, i dont have as much desire to try things out.

let me know how ya like it tho, if you give it a shot

Np, you can't use the regular files thepsy has in the op, you need to hit the link for the metamorph files. Metamorph files and zipthemer files are compatible with each other. I've used metamorph and that thing is wonky. I did a simple softkey mod with it and it erased my nav bar! Had to nandroid. Stay away from that.
Zipthemer on the other hand creates a flashable zip from special zipthemer files ( which are based on a particular mod ). When its done you just flash the file in cwm and it applies ONLY the mod and doesn't muck with a theme or any mod installed previously. If you install just the regular files in the op, they will definitely break mods and themes.

zero - will do. It fixes "layout" issues, which is presumably the bug where the dialer will be cut in half due to it "pulling" in landscape mode when the option isn't checked.

Ahh I remember that phone layout issue some were having. I never had that issue. So the fix is for fixing that. I thought it was for fixing the 'whole' phone hahah

Yeah that's it. And you can fix that by rebooting and opening phone app in portrait and not checking some option regarding layout for the phone app. Forget where that is. Figured if I didn't check it I could ignore it (correct assumption), b/c if you check it and start it in landscape mode, it'll do that.

I also hate landscape, so I always turn off auto-rotate lol

I saw that on XDA, pretty sure they had a MS3 build? Maybe I was mistaken. I dig it though.

I sorta want new softkeys, but I have no idea how to reverse that lol. Is there a stock softkey zip?

Yea only for build 22.

I got lots of softkeys and I could make a flashable for you. I got lots of others if you want to see em and you got a bit of time...pm me and I can show you all of em. All you do is send me your systemUI.apk and I can make a flashable. Or I can make a zipthemer file for you to make your own but you still need the images. Or if you see images you like, gimme a link.

Would you wait for MS4 or flash to Build 22? I'm confused about one bit--is it .4 or .3? I presume the latter, but every thread I've seen talks about how much it uses from .4 and the hit or miss experiences with the .4 GAPPs.

mostly the weather in pulldown bar. some other under the hood stuff. not much different. if you're on b22 already theres no reason to go back to m3, b22 is m3 with some newer features.
