I know a few people have commented that they have seen less than great battery life on Bugless. I'm not saying that is or is not the case but a few comments about battery life in general on ROMs just to keep some of that discussion in perspective.
It can take up to a few charge cycles before the ROM will settle and the battery life you are seeing is normal. If you don't have 2 or 3 cycles (0-100% battery travel) on that ROM flash, then the battery life you are seeing probably isn't accurate. Furthermore, flashing an update as I understand it will start that process over. Right now Pete is banging out updates almost every other day so if you are flashing those the chances of you seeing accurate battery stats are slim because you aren't getting enough charge cycles between them for things to settle and calibrate.
Additionally, when you first flash any ROM you can kill the battery. I flashed Bugless on the 7/13 build and went from 100% to 85% just from backing up and flashing. If you flash at 8am and use your phone for a few hours without charging it again, yeah you'll see crap battery because you sucked up a ton of juice installing it.
Oh, wiping battery stats in CWM doesn't do anything for you battery life. Throwing that out there since I still occasionally see people suggesting that.
I've been running Bugless now for a while now, on several different phones ranging from the OG Droid up to the GNex. My experience has always been that the battery life is as good or slightly better than stock, that applies to the latest 4.1.1 version as well.
Battery life is also very hard to get a good grasp on in just a few days. So many things come into play. There are days at work when I can be at 30% by lunch time and other days I have 60%+ left. Just depends on how i'm using it that day.
So just somethings to keep in mind as you see people post their experiences.
