[ROM][AOSP][10/31][JB] Bugless Beast VZW Galaxy Nexus

I downloaded the 4.1.1 v1 and everything works great except WiFi tether app. I also downloaded foxfi and that doesn't work ether. Is there a fix for this?

I've heard wifi tether app hasn't been updated for JB yet, and idk about foxfi, although supposedly built in hotspot should be working fine, without charging/checking for subscription. Check it out.

So...after over 48 hrs sitting in rice...my nexus is back and working after being washed! Cm9 on a dinc2 was good enough but it wasn't bugless!

Now I don't have to buy a new phone and can get a nexus 7!

:D

I would also check with the native tethering. I saw some people say it wasnt working, but I am on the computer right now with the native tether to my laptop and it working very well.

Form my first ROM ever, I'd say I love it. Very nice. The only thing I don't like is the damn pisaca/scrapbook photo album I cannot get rid of in the Gallery. Oh well.

Does your volume down button work?

I dunno why but in JB with BB my volume for Google Voicemail is extremely low.

Looks like Pete got a nexus 7 so hopefully we will see some bugless for that!

Hmm..for me in Google voice the voicemail volume seems tied to the phone volume...can you try increasing that?
Mine was really low too until I did that...

I tried wifi tether, foxfi and the native tether with wifi tether my computer wouldn't see it with foxfi it kept failing and with the native tether my computer would find it and connect but it wouldn't go online so I'm back to ics

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but I'm getting some strange behavior running this.

I keep seeing my GPS searching and not giving up. Where I work my phone can never see the sky nor lock on my location completely and today it sat there chewing through battery trying to find satellites.

Other than disabling GPS, anyone know what's up or how to adjust this?

Re: [ROM][JB][AOSP] 4.1.1 Bugless Beast VZW Galaxy Nexus - 7/14/1

I love the Bugless Beast Rom (Jelly Bean 4.1.1) for my Verizon Galaxy Nexus, but how can I keep the radio stable? My 4G radio turns itself on and off during the day about 10-15 times. Will flashing another kernel or radio help? I am using FC04/FC05 now. I am in the Jackson, MS market, which has 4G coverage. Thank you.

Usually that's caused by an app that is trying to use the GPS...I see it all the time with endomondo and Facebook.
I have no issues with the GPS on bugless.

GPS is off too. It says it is accurate to 2000 meters. Yikes! It was much better with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Yup, it was an app (Hootsuite) misbehaving. Force closed and now I'm good to go. Super exact and fast GPS.
