thats strange, i'm still rooted with superuser after flashing. the developer has it listed as being as rooted, and android central says the same thing in their hands on. did you do a full wipe, plus cache and davlik when you installed in?

Sure did. I also installed SU via clockwork... thats probably the issue. Only reason I want SU is wifi tether, can't hop on xbox live without it
UPDATE: YEP that was the problem... I feel dumb but now i've decided to make this my daily. FACE LOCK get ready iphone brats at work

I love the new camera...it's fast and panorama is actually pretty awesome.
The new keyboard is amazingly fast, I prefer it to swift x.
Just need a custom kernel that I can overclock, maybe bln and voodoo also and i'll be all set!

So, I have Beezy's 3.6 ICS ROM currently on my phone and have had just a few issues with it, though for the most part it works great. Do you recommend I change to this mod?
Beezy's port was great but I think this runs a little better...feels more refined and it should be since it's built from src and not the sdk
This is AWESOME. I was running Beezy's who built his from the SDK port (and ran fantastically) but this has working bluetooth and an easy fix for Wi-Fi (just use the fix supplied in the post) !!!! Thank all the devs for all the work they have done with Android throughout the years!
Ezekeel has released his glados kernel for this rom. Still WIP but mostly fully functional. I can confirm bld and bln. Setcpu won't OC , but lazy is available. Deep idle might not work but I can't report either way. Nstools gives access to all mods. Voodoo works as does changing voltages using setcpu.

I don't understand the facial recognition complaints. I have a bushy goatee and while it's not 100% for me, it does do a good job recognizing my face. I just can't get a close-up. I've gotta hold my phone at almost a full arm's length to get it to work right.
so the only issue i have is wifi signal not showing up in the status bar and the inability to recieve MMS.

first of all, this port looks and runs really, really well, and i can't imagine the work that went into making this happen.
before taking the plunge (i was unrooted beforehand) i ran MyBackup and pulled my contacts, SMSs, apps, etc. to the internal storage. i moved them to my hard drive and let the One-Click-Root application do the work. it was working great until i decided to push everything back with MyBackup, which i really shouldn't have done. my contacts were already in there and i didnt exactly NEED all my texts.
anyway, now that it's trying to do this, the Messaging app is hanging and FCing due to the 5000 or so unreads it thinks i have, and i'm getting a "Too Many Contacts Deletes" notification up top. i'm a little too wary to let it all delete, lest i end up losing everything on Google's end. also, my Contacts app seems to have disappeared. did anyone go through this too?

hmm...I have installed this, and when I plug my phone in to my computer, I can't seem to get USB storage to show up at all. I need to get that wifi patch on my phone...am I missing something?
USB storage was broke on the NS4G Rom, wait for the next update and you will have to download the new version directly from your phone.
V2 fixes the USB storage issues and also a few other fixes. Google Wallet is not there and it may be a while before 4g will be active on this ROM.
