[rom] AXI0M

Try clearing cache and data in your market by going into settings>applications>market then clear both. The open the market and see if it fix the issue if not you might want to wipe and install the rom again because you shouldn't have this problem. Also check the permissions which would give you a triangle in your notification bar that you will need to agree to.

I was also having that problem trying to restore apks+data from MyBackup Pro. I think its more of a problem with MyBackup and ICS though. I ended up having to uninstall the apps and then go into the market and redownload the app again. Then go to MyBackup and restore just the data for the app.

I have since gone back to 4.0.2 stock but if I get around it I will try this. I did a factory reset, clear cache and dalvik cache before I flashed this rom but I'll try this if I get a chance.

I was not trying to restore apps just download them from the market as if new downloads and every single t hing I tried to download errored out. Clearing the market cache as suggested above might work I'll reflash it for the hell of it just to see if that is a fix so anyone who has that issue knows =). Good thing for nandroid backup! Works so nice!

I DO like the option to reboot into recovery when reboot is selected in this rom, very nice in case something gets screwed up and you can't get Rom Manager from the market again as I have in the past and had to go searching for the .apk to restore a backup! So very nice!

I do prefer the stock boot animation, small complaint I know lol.

Well I reflashed this Rom and before trying to install anything from the market I just rebooted the phone for the hell of it and it seems to be working just fine now with the market. I'll keep it for a while and see how I like it =). Or until 1.9 comes out in a few hours lol

I'm going to flash 1.8 and have a titanium question. After flashing, can I just run a restore of apps and data from titanium, or will that cause problems (something like this ROM having a newer Browser)? If I can't restore apps and data, after apps are re-installed, can I at least restore data? I hate losing stuff like all my custom Places searches that I've created.

EDIT - 1 more question - can this be flashed right over the stock 4.0.2 or do I need to be running something else first?

Thanks

You can flash this over stock and you won't have any issues restoring your application data and I promise you'll love this ROM. I have always restored my app data without any issues and if you do have a issue just clear data for that app in settings.

no way, apex kernel.....But I have not tried Leankernal, so I have zero common sense on that matter, thanks!

Apex is what I came from. Give Leankernel a shot ...you won't be sorry. You can under volt the heck out of it with setcpu. Love it

I know that the Quadrant app has not been set to test ICS (maybe not even duel cores), but before I flashed this ROM, my stock ICS was scoring around a 1500 and after flashing it, I'm getting about 2200. I like that.

How are you guys making these cpu adjustments? Through SetCPU, or are you flashing a mod on this ROM? If it's a ROM, where are you getting it?

Updated to 1.9 without a wipe. Just had to restore my screens via nova launcher and then reapply one of the soft button mods I did and I was back up and running in no time. Also applied the kernel per the instructions.

Sure made playing Santa easier since I had a reason to stay up late and flash.

Thanks guys I will update here soon.

FYI it's now 2.0 and change log is in OP

Same here... had to re-apply my battery/softkey mods. I updated the kernel but I could swear it says the same exact thing under device info as the kernel that came with the ROM. Might reflash it again just to make sure.

As for SetCPU.. these are my settings:
350 min / 1350 max with the Smartass governor. Also like interactive or ondemand. (ondemand would be best for battery life... interactive would be an in-between for best performance and good battery life)
Profile set up for screen off: 350 min / 350 max (this will save battery life big time when the phone not being used)
