[rom] AXI0M

NUKED Market Restore (Bug Issues) Sorry Boys and Girls. Get AppMonster

This is whats holding me back from trying this ROM. Can someone elaborate on what was disabled and/or if its been reenabled and fixed?

What did u set the priority at on your screen off profile? Also, did u check the box on the main screen that says start on boot?

As the word implies... it goes by the priority of all of your profiles. So for example... if you have two profiles set up.. one for Screen Off and one for Charging.. I would set the charging profile higher then the screen off because charging also involves the screen being off (there are exceptions.. like navigation). If the Screen Off was set higher and then if you go to charge the phone while the screens off... the Charging profile would not be used. If that makes sense...
Then you also have Charging by AC outlet and Charging by USB options.
I pretty much only have my phone plugged in at night... I don't have it charging in my car for GPS/navigation.... so, I have two profiles set up.. one for charging and one for screen off. I have the charging profile set to 350 min and 1200 max because I don't need my phone overclocked while I'm sleeping. So.. charging is at a 75% priority and I leave screen off at a 50% priority. It doesn't matter which numbers you use as long as one is set higher then the other. I like using multiples of 25.

Its kind of tough to explain since everyone uses the phone differently but that's about the best I can explain it. You need to figure out your priorities for each profile made and then adjust the percentages accordingly.

I don't want to turn this thread into a How to use setCPU so... to quickly answer the last part of your question. Don't check the set to boot option until you know your phone is running without any problems with your clocking speeds.. example, if the phone is randomly rebooting. Once you know everything is running smoothly... then you can check that box (if you want). I leave it unchecked and adjust my settings everytime I reboot the phone (if it needs it).

I also don't want to stray from the topic, but after reading your post I figured I'd give set CPU a try because 1.9 was extremely laggy for me. It seems to have been taken care of after following your instructions, thanks a ton! Loving 1.9!

There were a few people including myself that were reporting 1.9 to have some lag. You can try setting the max to 1200 instead of 1350. Also it usually takes some time for a ROM to settle in so you might see improvements after a day or so. I was getting lag right after I flashed 1.9 but it went away after a few hours. I'm about to flash 2.0 just for the hell of it. I think its the same as 1.9 but has the new kernel baked in. Might as well have the latest and greatest :)

I believe there was a bug in the market auto restoring your app's and it has been disabled until fixed. So basically your app's wont auto restore after flashing this rom. Your still able to manually download your app's from the market or us Titanium Backup or any other application restoring app. IMO I don't are for all my app's to auto install anyways because some I don't us anymore and others I just use on my tablet and using TB is much faster and I can restore data too.

The link to 2.0 is not working (at least for me).

If I'm on 1.8, can I flash 2.0 without wiping data (just wipe cache and dalvik)?

For the first time I didn't wipe and have had no issues. It did clear out my mods which I had to flash back but that was it. I did wipe cache.

And format system under mounts and storage ...you're data still won't be erased

What is format system under mounts and storage? I know how to get to it and how to do it, but why are you recommending it (not meaning to sound difficult, just genuinely curious)? I'm only asking because that particular step was never addressed in Cyber's sticky on how to install a ROM. Is it one of those things that some people like to do and others never mess with, or something I should always be doing?

You brave soul.

Another one already? Right on, this is good stuff!
I think theory mentioned in his op that no need do the data wipe from 1.8 on.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the JD KERNEL, what all does it do (or what am I missing if I don't use it) and how/where do you get/use it?

It's great to be back in the ROM flashing world. Switched over to the Galaxy Nexus last Friday and unlocked and rooted the next today. Today, I finally flashed my first custom ROM on the Nexus. Woohoo! :p

The kernel is a component of the operating system and JD kernel is the customized kernel that's inlcuded with the ROM. If you've flashed the latest version of ZYGOT3, you also have the latest JD kernel.

Ok just installed this one...how do I restore all of the apps I have on my backup and their data?

I used Titanium back up (made a back up before I flashed). You can use the batch function to install all missing apps + data and it only a takes a few minutes. Titanium is probably the most valuable app I have on my phone.

Installed with soft key mod. Its just perfect. Even fixed a bug I was experiencing with the microphone in the browser keyboard.
