I have noticed two things that are kinda iffy.. 1s just kinda there, but the other I hope gets fixed sometime.. The first thats not huge is when I have headphones in, anytime I get a notification like a text or message or anything, the sound goes the phone speaker, and if I'm playing music it cuts to the speaker as well.. which sux if I'm listening to something or using navigation and suddenly it flips to the phone speaker and I can't hear it over the notification sound..

The other is when using headphones or a phone headset, the mic doesn't work.. I have to flip it in speakerphone when driving as opposed to the phone mic.. and because of that none of my old headsets with inline mics work on the mic side of things.. IDK if these can even be fixed but I hope and assume they might be able to be..

I have noticed the nightly thing though.

I text a lot. Its not uncommon for me to send 200+ texts a day. But my battery lasts for awhile if im not using the screen like with pandora and whatnot. My phones been unplugged for 40 mins and it has dropped 20%. The phone is saying 84% of that is due to the screen and its been on maybe 15 mins of the 40mins.

I use my phone for work (I drive an 18 wheeler) so I use a lot of email and apps. Thats why im kinda upset that pandora and google maps arent working anymore.

Pandora and Google Maps don't work for you? Any idea why? I too drive a lot and I use Navigation all day long. And I used Pandora when I did lawn work today.

Have you considered wiping the entire phone and starting over fresh?

I have no idea why. And I did a full wipe when I flashed beta 2. Pandora worked the first time after the flash and that was it. Now it opens and says buffering 1% then says "loading" forever. It changes the song every minute or so and does the same thing all over again. Before, toggling data fixed it but not anymore.

Maps just doesnt do anything. I click it and it says "Unfortunately Maps has stopped working"

How's everyone doing on battery life now? I use to get by pretty well but I installed Beta2 CM9 a few days ago and I'm struggling to make it through a day...
(Min at 122 with Smartassv2, little use of data, mostly on wifi or nothing)

You really need to turn your oc up some if your phone will stay stable. That's part of your problem. take 122 up to 480

I can't change the boot animation, I've been all over the Google and nothing helps. Now I got the black screen b4 the system loads. Not a huge deal but if anyone knows a fix I'm on aokp. Tried flashing, system/media and data/local with no luck. I'm dumbfounded..lol

Put a bootanimation.zip into the /system/media. That's the very first thing I change in AOKP when I flash. I can't stand the freakin' unicorn!

I did that first with root explorer, the only thing I get now is the lg boot logo and the q, after that its black screen till optimizing apps appears. I've tried flashing boots also and it says complete but nothing. I'm on drews cot if that helps any. Also I read that I can put it in data/local and it will bypass the original boot but nothing either... damn unicorn!!lol

My min is that low, which had no effect on stability for me. My max is at 748.

I'm saying that if him jacking up the over clock won't make his phone unstable, he needs to turn his min up and it will help the battery drain he was talking about.

1. you did delete the original bootani correct?

2. make sure that whichever root explorer/browser you are using didn't put a space in the file name. i've had that happen before.

I'm confused if you're talking to me or not, but raising the min didn't help... made it worse lol. No big deal I think its just the deep sleep issue just seems to have got worse than before....

Try this: turn on airplane mode, turn off your phone, pull battery and hold power key for 10 seconds, re-install battery and power up, then when everything is done settling, turn airplane mode back off.

Release power key before you re-insert the battery

I just installed this and it was in the boot screen for a good 5 minutes and it finally got to the 'Welcome to the LS-670' screen and I click the Android and it says 'Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped'... What am I supposed to do bout that?

I believe it has something to do with the Gapps package I installed because it was normal up until the point I installed the gapps.
