[ROM] CM-10.2 4.3 rom + 3.0x kernel

I'd rather see a thread than just a mediafire link. And yeah, goo.im is in the process of migrating stuff, and it appears that the gapps.zip is currently unavailable.

I poked around, and I do like what I see so far. I miss the customization options of aokp (mostly just the battery bar and centered clock), but I'm going to look for some xposed framework stuff. [edit: I found the TEAM Battery bar and gravitybox, which work :D) If they can do what I like, then I'll probably pack everything up to move to this rom.

I can't even get it to download, since I get a 500 error from their site right now, and it says to expect errors since they're migrating stuff. Be patient.

There's an app on the market called Xblast Tools, which is pretty much aokp customizations and more. Just follow instructions for install. Not sure how it works with this rom though, since i'm still unable to download it, but it works great with PACman rom.

I believe screenies were asked for?
Screenies - Imgur

I've found Xposed modules for basically everything, so that's good. I'm testing the majority right now.
I've noticed that the sdcard sometimes fails to mount on boot, although that's probably my SDcard's fault.
Battery life is better, since I forgot that flashing stuff tends to hit up the battery pretty hard :p

I may also try out an int to ext script later, after I get some partitioning done on my sd card.

I'm on my OV and the mms is not working anyway to fix this?

Also there is no 3G icon so don't know if there also an issue with it

Yeah Espeon. Pretty much all the new jb roms are heavy on battery usage.

Download the virgin mobile fix in the slimrom thread.

Actually, the battery life is pretty superb so far. I'd forgotten that flashing the stuff and switching between a couple nandroids is battery consuming, though.
Anyway, for customizability, I used the following Xposed tweaks:
XuiMod - Battery bar; animations
XBlastTools - Center Clock and other tweaks
GravityBox - It has everything else, including the kitchen sink.

If you don't know what the Xposed framework is, check out this thread over on XDA.

Also, I've noticed that when uplugging the device, it does do the notification sound/vibrate for charging (I love that feature), but the status bar battery icon continues to show that it is charging for another 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

Is it working perfect for you guys ? If not what's bad with it ?

Well for me every time I flash it I haven't been able to get gapps installed due to the system partition being completely full. No virgin fix means I can't send or receive mms, other then that I think most basic rom functions are working

How much space is left after just flashing the ROM, maybe we could delete apps that aren't needed

Seems minimal I'll do a nandroid and test it out again

Everything works so far. There's about twice as much RAM free on average as there was on 10.1, which is always nice. I've had some weird sdcard issues, but I've always had those and it's probably my cheap card's fault.
edit: Trying to enable bluetooth makes settings.apk fc.

I haven't even been able to download them :p
I live without them, though, since if I really need an app from the store, I use a chrome extension to download it on my laptop.

I have 118 MB available without gapps.

Give it a bit to settle; it's a bit stuttery on the first boot. That's kinda a given with cm10 on an Optimus S/V, though.

Yeah, I'll put some up later today.

Personally, it's been great for me. I've had about twice as much free ram as I did on the PAC rom, and I've had only a couple minor annoyances that I've solved.
I've never really cared for the stock keyboard in any case; I use Touchpal X. It works great.

I'm also going to try using Cannibal OT Recovery later to see if I can then flash it.

Did you ever solve the keyboard problem ?

Did you guys install normal gapps or light gapps ?

As myself and other people have stated numerous times, the gapps in the OP appear to not work for one of several reasons; I'm going without them (for now, at least).

I never had a keyboard issue; the stock keyboard worked fine, but it's not exactly stellar. I prefer to use a keyboard with gesture input, among other things.

I had to install a couple times to get everything working correctly, but here is the order I used:

1. Wipe & flash rom (build3)
2. Flash VirginFix
3. Reboot
4. Flash Light Gapps
5. Reboot
6. Manually install FIXED-int2ext+ by placing 40int2ext into init.d folder
7. Reboot
8. Install third party keyboard (Swiftkey for me)

I don't know if this will work for you guys, but it's what worked for me.
