Could be. I don't see any physical changes that stand out. Maybe this latest build is mostly speed tweaks.

Time to flash!

I finally got the nerve to start flashing a while back and on one of my phones have flashed many, to me, roms. And I still don't know how to wipe system. I wipe data, cache, and Dalvick. I am using clockwork Mod Recovery 6.0.1.0. Under mounts and storage I do see a format system. Is this the wipe system necessary for a clean install? Am currently on AOKP Preview 7.

Nevermind, page 2 of Cyberwarrior's Guide showed me my format system was correct guess.

Huh. You can tell I've been out of the loop for a bit. Before flashing 805 was the first time I formatted system, and damn is this snappy now.

just DL 805... unless one of you objects... I'm gonna dirty flash from 803 and skip 804 all together...

also gonna live dangerously and not make a back-up...

can't believe, what I'm becoming... ahh flashing on my mind first thing Monday morning...

Coffee - check
File - check
Hold my calls - check

time to flash...

I hear dirty flashing it might not be the best idea, as there's some significant system changes. I'd say make a backup and give it a shot.. but you might need to do a full wipe on this one, just a heads up :)

I DF'd from 0803 to 0805 without issue, but like 2def said, just be aware that it may be wonky and might require a data wipe/clean install.

Really? I'm on 804 now and will probably wait for 806 today. Dirty flashing is not recommended for these new builds?

Dirty flashing is always risky. Significant system alterations can make it not a good idea. Like I said you can try. Some people are reporting no issues while for some it might not cooperate.

Agreed. It wouldn't be the first time I effed up my phone, and most certainly wouldn't be the last.

So far, so good :)

I think I like the thrill of knowing I may eff it up, and doing it anyway :D
