That sucked IMO. It was okay the first few times, but got old real quick. If there was a thing like a boot animation not giving me confidence that my phone would startup properly, this would be it.

I felt the same way about it. Eventually I just kept a copy of the standard JB boot animation on my phone so I could replace the 8-bit animation after flashing a new nightly.

Just DF'd the 0823 file. Apps are updating so hopefully all goes well.

Can't stress how much happier I am with the CM Boot Ani.

EDIT: might be placebo, but this build feels really, really fast. App and screen changes feel snappier overall.

I have also noticed the same thing, everything seems to load a bit faster. I will let the Kernel settle in all day and use the phone throughout the day.

Has anyone else noticed the number of downloads has basically decreased by half since AOKP build 1 was released? There was a little spike yesterday when the new boot animation was added. Other than that, the downloads seem to stay under 200 a day.

Sure did, I tried build 1 and liked it but I definitely prefer euroskank at the moment. Seems smoother to me and I would imagine had more time to iron things out
