I haven't used speaker phone my wife brought it to my attention after I rooted and romed her replacement she got today I'm going to do a clean install on mine and I'll let you know

ALPHA 10G, i.e. 10F with patches

ALPHA 10G. Includes 10F patches from post 2. Fixes stock camcorder. Still need a market app to view videos like mx player. Includes the following patches camera test5, test 10 kernel, test 3 boot.img, recent apps moved to voice button. If wifi doesn't turn on, reboot fixes it. alpha10G-cm9-ls670-kraven-signed.zip

Google Music Force Close Fix

From my research, there is a problem with the Hosts file not being formatted properly. Could be wrong, but I changed the format to Unix text as opposed to the Windows/DOS format it was originally in, and it fixed it.

Use a root file manager to replace the 'hosts' file with the one included in the archive in the /etc/ folder, or use ADB. "adb push hosts /etc/"

Default CM9 music player, or Play Music? Play Music crashed for me every time I tried to stream songs, but it worked fine when I played my music offline.

You should be ok wiping cache and system. Flash alpha 10G and gapps.

Thanks, I'm still trying to figure out why it worked for some and not others. The kernel scripting mounts the system folder, then deletes the old modules and copies the new modules. If you don't mind flashing the boot.img that gave you no wifi. Then have a look at the /system/lib/module folder and see if there are the 3 modules inside. Or checksum and see if they are the same as in the zip file.

Flashed cm9a10f.test2boot.img. All three files are in /system/lib/modules.

The only problem I "see" is in your updater-script (and I can be wrong about it):

How about trying:

delete_recursive("/system/lib/modules/")

Again, I could be wrong....

I can't remember if i added the audio test 1 patch to alpha G. You may have to flash that.

Google Music Force Close WORKAROUND

It's something in the /etc/hosts file that is killing it. The hosts file in these ROMs has a TON of entries in it, I'm assuming for ad blocking purposes. I pushed the hosts file from Harmonia 2 which only contains one line via ADB and it is streaming fine over Wi-Fi and 3G.

Hosts file is attached for easy access. I suppose a permanent fix would be finding out what the entries are in the hosts file that is stopping the connection, but this works for now.

I swear the remedy for this was posted quite a few times already, I know I posted it only a few pages back. There is an ADB free version, Download Rom Toolbox Lite and use the Adblock function to update the hosts file.

I just had a 2 minute drift, but it was synced in just a few seconds
