G'apps is fine - except for the Voice Search.. even when downloaded from the Market.

SMS (Texts) works fine, as does 3G connections. There is one "Sprint" APN missing from the ROM.. you may need to create that (see the OP) I think there is a data "fix" that messes with the APN's there..

MMS's - I am able to send MMS, but when I try to click on a MMS or Messaging Thread with an attachment attached to it, it says "Sorry! com.android.messaging has stopped responding" or something like that - none the less, it FC's... Sending works fine though.. Yes, I cleared Boot, Cache, Data, and System before flashing the Alpha10 version F ROM..

There is my two sense on messaging currently.

MMS works fine for me. Both send and receive. Its def not missing an APN. Try reflashing .

Oh...and its "cents" lol not "sense".

Woops. I am flashing Sense 2.1 by DrewWalton right now but I can try 10G out later.. I am on ZVJ Rooted Baseband, so I can't very well flash ICS on the phone

Has anyone had any issues with screen text disappearing? For example, I open up a GMail message, start to scroll down and the text of the email disappears, but is still scrolling.

I thought it was a data download issue, but it works after reset. It seems to happen randomly and a reboot only helps. I also had it happen with the FB app too. Clearing data doesn't resolve it for the app, only a restart so far.

I am on 10G and very happy with it thus far...nice work Kraven!

I didn't see any posts regarding this issue.
Does anyone have Facebook contacts actually syncing? All my checks are checked and it says they are. But, they never actually show up.
Google + contacts show fine.
I'm on 10g
gapps didnt work for me. I had to get everything from the market. Maybe i did something wrong? I only flashed one gapps.
Also, wondering if there is a data2ext?

If you had the play store, then gapps installed fine. It doesn't include Gmail, YouTube, etc in order to keep it /small/. There are numerous posts about the Gmail and Facebook issue, as demonstrated in the above post.

Finally got the ringtone change working. GApps STILL won't work. It says "unable to open the file" without specifying the reason in most cases, or it just says "bad" as the reason in others. And this is after having tried to download ICS GApps zip files that date all the way back to 20120201.

Wi-fi doesn't seem to work as is. Flashed HydroKernel ICS, but while it makes wi-fi actually WORK, it also screws up the wallpapers and changes anything that's supposed to be blue to yellow. Not sure what that's about, so for now I simply did another full wipe and reflashed the main ROM itself...and wi-fi is dead again.

something doesnt seem quite right. are you sure you are fully wiping /data /cache /system?
or your gapps download isnt corrupt? try redownloading gapps, the 4-29 version.
as for wifi, on 10g, mine was broken too until i rebooted. try a FULL wipe of everything. either use drews cwm port or if using xionia, use the debug zips. then flash the rom, then gapps. reboot, let it settle. toggle wifi, reboot again. see what happens.

I booted into recovery to wipe dalvik cache and see if it could fix the error I was having with google play. However I got this message when tried to wipe dalvik, "E: can't mount /dev/block/mmcblkop2 (No such file or directory)" I was just curious what it meant and if it could be the cause of my problem with google play.

Try the newer kernels in post #2, also try the airplane toggle dance.

Exact problem I was having but I flashed 10F for the time being.

Edit: Toggle dance worked for me only if I enable airplane mode, reboot via menu, then disable the plane.

Yeah, I've done that (wiping everything before flashing) several times, actually. And it's possible that the download was corrupt; if that were the case, then it would explain the difficulty there.

I've downloaded GApps again, this time it didn't seem to have any problem in downloading from the site to the computer. Going to transfer it from the computer to the memory card. And I'll try the wi-fi/airplane mode toggle-to-reboot, as well.

Got everything to work but it was a real hassle to get ZVD revert, hope it was worth it :3

EDIT: Getting a problem where the wallpaper looks REALLY messed up like all pixelated. any fix?

The Airplane Mode toggle did the trick, after everything else. (Actually, I not only re-downloaded GApps, which flashed successfully this time, I toggled both wi-fi AND Airplane Mode.) Wi-Fi works fine now. Besides, Pkt_Lnt...until drew gets around to updating it, HydroKernel v01pre4 is THE current kernel. BUT, having redone everything without flashing that in as well, seems fine to me. Thanks a lot, folks. You rock.
