I'm on cm7, does anyone know a different style of unlocking our phones... something pretty cool.

Supercharger doesn't seem to have done much for my speeds; did make it so I initially had to perform the Toggle Dance. Going to test more, see how it behaves when I get on the road later and try to stream music.

Edit: Connection stayed reliable and music streamed pretty well. Didn't try any web browsing or app downloading. Didn't require any further Toggle Dance as I moved in and out of wifi range.

Same here. I don't know if i've had any effect. Then again, I don't know if I edited the build.prop correctly....

Bit the bullet! Loaded up 9 on my spare Optimistic S "beater" (no phone or 3g). Rom looks in great shape except for the camera and other known issues.

My take is that Wi-Fi speed is a bit laggy, text disappearing in Skyfire and stock browser address bar. Tried a version of Flash that worked on sRom for Optimus S but no joy. Chrome fizzles before it fully loads (not an FC though). PropModder doesn't show the file dump option (the first and second items in the menu are blank and touchless, weird)... but fits in with some of the other screen anomalies mentioned like the scrolling issues. Nothing major at all. Smooth at 806. YouTube cruises.

All in all an outstanding job for a "twerp" droid like the S! Friends are blown away too. Very grateful so I'll pony up. Will stay tuned...

Chrome won't work for our phones yet, It's ARM7 only and we have an ARM6 processor which would be why it fizzles. I haven't had your problems with disappearing text in the browser yet though 0_0. It is pretty awesome though huh?

Off-Topic: I can't wait till they release the full source for Chrome for Android. I think I might try my hand at compiling an ARM6 build of it when they do.

Yes. It seems the consensus is that uninstalling updates to the Gmail app will temporarily fix this.

Use Titanium Backup to "integrate" updates of ROM apps and that solves it.

Has anybody gotten the absolute system app to work on this ROM? I keep getting an error whenever I try to open it saying unfortunately the app has closed.

If, not when. ZVH and cm don't play nice together (who's ready for not having data, anyone?), and zvj might not be any different. That's why Kraven's ROMs are on zvd.

GUI Issues - Text Disappearing

FWIW I have also experienced anomalies where text is not visible or disappears upon scrolling.

I could be wrong but I do not believe it's a ROM problem rather an application quirk where the app is using an Android ui widget which is not ICS friendly. What's happening IMHO is the font color and other style elements of the widget class like background or highlight color are breaking in ICS because of the way the style class is coded. I've seen this in a few apps and is a bummer for user name and pwd fields. I believe that the API has cross version widgets which are backward compatible.

It was so frustrating in Apk Uploader that I copied the TB data only for that app from a Froyo phone to the alpha 9 to get the FTP configuration in!

Im getting closer to getting data on ZVH/J so when i get it i think everyone is going to move that way >.>
