One weird problem I'm running in to - trying to run Wireless Tether (the app, not the inbuilt), I can't make a wireless connection with my netbook unless I turn off security. Didn't have any issues in CM7.

Anyone have any suggestions? I know it may not really be a ROM issue, but it did only start with this ROM.

Still seeing it with the system clock. It seems to lag after two or three minutes of the screen being off, then update itself the first time I do something that hits the internet. You can check Facebook every time you main screen turn on, but that doesn't help your alarms go off on time.

Latest Beautiful Widgets update seems to have corrected that app's time issues. Consider downloading an appropriate app in the interim, maybe.

Does BW have an alarm feature at all? If I read that correctly, the BW timekeeping is correct, so this might be useful. I used to have it in the past so I can always re-download it..

EDIT: I'm using an older version (seems this is not showing on the market for Sprint), the new version doesn't work at all. This (http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/detail?name=wireless_tether_2_0_7.apk) seems to be the version I'm using.

Like I said, though, security doesn't work, so if you are using it in public, anyone can latch on and use your connection

Sadly, no. It has a clock, but uses the system's alarms. I'd eat a fish if I thought there wasn't a third-party alarm app in the Play Store, though. Like, a salmon, even.

Does anyone have issues when playing music? I noticed when I listen to music. It stops playing. No music will play at all in any player..i have to pull the battery and then It gets stuck on the LG splash and I have to do a few battery pulls and wait a minute and then it'll boot or I just have to re-install the rom.

Only problem I can view from alpha 9 would be the phone application force closing. I can still receive and make calls but force closes and the call is sent to background. Ics Rules!!!

Also video is still a bit sluggish )

The menu/ home button was fixed ... hell yeaa!!!!

Uh, nope. A few reboots and my fiddling with the Google Play Music settings and both it and Slacker Radio play music just fine for me on alpha 9, via headphone jack or handset speaker.

That's weird.. my phones randomly freezes aswell.. and I have to pull the battery until it properly boots up..

Did you flash the debug zip in the installation process? Maybe you just need to reflash it...I know I sometimes have issues with ROMS but it just takes another installation to work out kinks

So, that bit about BW timekeeping being fixed after their recent update? I lied; it's still screwy. Sorry.

Loving pretty much everything else about alpha 9. Radio strength seems greatly improved, which is a nice surprise. Haven't tried Bluetooth audio, and the clock issue is still there; haven't tried the camera; I can deal with those things.

And alpha 9 is iscream kernel friendly again with the home/menu keys.. so you can test with that kernel.

If you have changed the screen density, change it back to default (160). Tried changing it by editing build.prop, density changed fine, looked awesome... but phone crashed every time. Reverted the change and it works fine

Holy...........fu................ck, flashed alpha 9, iscream kernel, button fix then gapps, works flawlessly except for camera preview , other than that, absolutely amazing, keep up the awesome work Kraven. Now only curious to see what happens with these ics cm9 roms once the zvj update get sifted through

Other than what's already been mentioned, the only issue I am having is that I can't get Google voice search to work out of the box. My fix has been to delete from system/app and replace with one from the market.

Has anyone been successful in using the integrated one built into the rom .

I downloaded the Rom, gapps and the hotkey power fix. Any other things scattered I may need to flash this today?

Clocksync from the market with autosync enabled, I have it set at hourly and only when awake. I'm slowly backing down settings to see when the clock gets behind. So far it's keeping time for me.

You can try iscream kernel, but it's behind a few patches from what's included.

Has anyone else been getting reboots? It seems to be less apparent when I have data connection unchecked with WIFI on. Once I turn on 3G, I get reboots left and right.

I've flashed and re-flashed this ROM numerous times, factory reset, formatted /system, installed power-button hot-fix, etc (in no particular order).

Running a9, have tried cm9 stock kernel, Icescream Kernel, with the latest GAPPS.

Can anyone else weigh in on this?
