? The op of COT says it supports xionia backups and the error about sdcard/cotrecovery/settings.ini should only appear once the first time you start the recovery, it doesn't have anything to do with restoring a backup. What exactly is happening? Umm.. PM me

Whoa I looked at the .ini settings file in cot and sure enough it got hozed , I redid the .ini and it works great and sees all my nands and zips! Everything is working now on cai installing my 30th app now and still have almost 50 megs left in internal! Super Thanx wraith for your help. Don't really know what happened to the ini but I got it fixed.

Well after a day or two of tinkering I got all of this to work, and I must say "What a sweet Rom" this thing "ROCKS" I really appreciate kravens hard work and the superb help in these forums (Thanks again wraith420) my Optimus is alive and well again. Cant wait to put it thru the big test of nonstop torture to see how it does.

Pretty sure you can get wifi tether apps from the market that work.

My sd-ext partition worked fine in Quattrimus, but after flashing CAI and choosing a2sd, apks show up in both the internal storage and the sd-ext partition. I'm getting out of memory warnings, so it seems it's installing to both storage locations. Known issue? Any solution besides reflashing and starting over?

I too, came from Quattrimus. Use the dc2sd and all should be good. I also, had the same issue and after switching to dc2sd, all worked perfectly.

I'm not sure about your data issues, but it's easy enough to flash some of the other kernels. Just make a backup first. Did you install alpha 19?

You can absolutely set up the apps2sd feature if you partition your sd card. Back that up too, as partitioning will format the card as well. Once you do that, flash the rom, gapps, and patch. Boot it up, go to settings, performance, A2sd (ext ) settings and turn it on. Then install ridiculous amounts of apps.

The benefit is that you will not get another "out of space" error for the foreseeable future.

You will never get Netflix to work on this phone. Netflix uses hardware acceleration to render video. Qualcomm has not (nor ever will) release drivers for HW acceleration for Android 4.x. And the sad part is, its not just this phone that they won't release drivers for.

Just use an app from the market. If I remember correctly thekraven knows how to fix it, but its just really hard to do. FoxFi is good. And Wireless (or Wi-Fi) tether from google code works.

I did it with a fresh install. I skipped the setup, went straight to settings and picked dc2sd, then rebooted. I then logged into the market, setting up my account.

I did a quick search, but didn't find anything, so I apologize if this has already been addressed. Does anyone else's phone not enter the lock screen when you turn the screen off sometimes? I don't know under what circumstances it does/doesn't work yet. But if I run Fast Reboot after the phone stops going into the lock screen, it pops the lock screen up and then it starts working fine (entering lock screen when I turn the screen off).

I haven't experienced this or read of it till now. The closest I've had happen is it won't go to the lock screen if you turn the screen off and on quickly but that is normal behavior to my knowledge
