Rom compatibility

Hello friends,
I was just wondering if installing the rom of an htc desire 820q on a desire 820G+ would damage the later device.
Any help would be apreciated.

They run different SoC's or CPU's, it's unlikely you'll have a functioning device once you've loaded the ROM.
