Deck does it again. This rom took me away from sense 3.0..again. Now, I'm waiting for the latest linux kernel release to be implemented for the OG Evo..then I will be on the bleeding edge. Long live the Evo!

You need to be rooted to flash ROMs and you can't do that yet on a 2.3.3 EVO yet.

Man.... he's got it down to 71.6mb. I'm going to have to look into reparationing my internal storage. I can not wait to flash this.

Side note: I have a confession to make.... I've been running one of those new Sense 2.1-3.0 hybrid roms... Ok, ok, ok... it was more like two different Sense 2.1-3.0 hybrid roms for the last few weeks now.

But I want you guys to know... I got it all out of my system and I learned my lesson.

But 2.1 and 3.0 are really nice and have alot of neat little toys and eye candy. But once you get past that.... its still Sense and its still laggy at times, prone to random reboots and inaccurate radio signal levels.

Plus I got my View a couple of weeks ago and got a kick out of my tablet and my phone looking identical.

It's ok Philly, we've all done it. No worries man. I tried out the Virus ROM and was digging it but as with all the new Sense ROMs...way to much lag for my taste. I did love that lock screen though and thankfully that new lockscreen app I've been reading about has apparently brought the Sense 3.0 lockscreen to almost every device. It's called Agile lock (link below). My phone is almost charged and will be flashing this directly...can't wait!!! Right there with you in the size of the ROM...what is he doing to make it smaller?!?!? I can tell you guys one thing for sure...I will always have a backup of this waiting on me if curiosity ever gets the best of me again.

I don't know what and if Kush can work this in but the one big thing I've read about that's improved in the NS4G 2.3.5 update is improved 4g performance.

I want those speeds... I get those speeds on my eVo... WINNING!!!! DA!?!?!?

I get almost those speeds on my View 4g while sitting right next to it is my little mule (that's how I refer to my eVo) I get an average of 2-3mb and some places I get 4g on my View... I don't pick it up on my eVo.

I'm hopping that if some of the improvements are in the android portion of this update that they somehow have been incorporated.

Or even... just maybe... in the near future we see somekind of radio update.

I've been using this app on and off for the last couple of days. Its kewl and all and that to was the one thing I really liked about those 3.0 roms.

But Agile needs a lot of work yet to really come close. There are a bunch of cosmetic issues here and there... mainly the one right under the lock ring its self, that off white blueish dot and the button bar looks like it was taken from a screen shot and pasted in. Needs to be cleaned up some more and a few more features added in like notifications for the lock screen widgets like phone calls, texts and emails. If the dev does that this could be a very popular lockscreen app.

I flashed 1.3b over 1.2.1 today.

I always come back to this rom. Using Tiamat's 4.06 kernel, I get amazing battery life and it is very smooth and fast.

Feel the same... I put Decks aside for just about a month. WoW... you don't know what you got till its gone.

But now I'm back, just have to find the time to flash the latest updates and all, Wednesday I think I'll have to make the time.

I feel kind of bad for my little mule... sence I got my View I haven't really been using it as much. It's still my work horse for that on the go stuff, but my View has pretty much become my entertainment hub so to speak. But flashing back to Decks rom and the "newness" factor wearing off I do find myself using my eVo more and more.

So everything seems to be working great, quite loving the ROM. My only question is about the camera.. Is anyone else showing the camera at only 3 MP with no option to go any higher?

I havent had much time to read through the thread, but how does this ROM compare to CM7? I have been running CM7 for quite some time and have no problems with it, but I am always down for a new ROM. After reading the first couple of pages of this thread I'm getting excited about it, lol. It seems that the HDMI mirroring is working..does that mean if I plug in the HDMI cord it will just mirror my phone into the TV or will I have to download a App like FullHDMI? Thanks!

General opinion is that deck's is slightly faster or same speed, with somewhat better battery life, same stability.

Just a question but I DL the 1.3 beta version and my home button wasn't working and a few small issues. So i then DL the last stable release and the same thing ws happening. At first I thought a bad DL but when the same thing happenned again it left me for a loss. Any advise??

That's pretty weird, I haven't run into that particular issue as of yet. Is the Home button dead in the water or does it just not work when your doing certain things?

Has anyone else noticed 1.3b battery life ins't has good as some of the previous builds? It might be just me always being so anal about conserving battery or might be because this is only a beta. Anyway....thoughts?
