[ROM]GB 2.3.4 gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][2.3.4 Beta]

Re: [ROM]GB 2.3.4 gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][

Could anyone tell me where to get the sprint regular voicemail apk? or if it would work to just flash the gapps with voicemail even though I have already flashed the other one possibly

I can tell you, every Sprint Voicemail app I've tried never provisions right and always force closes. I would recommended doing a full wipe and just reflash the ROM and the gapps with the voicemail app. Works just as it should once its been flashed.

I flashed the gapps with vm during the initial install and it works perfectly (never had an issue with Deck's VM setup). I'd do a nandroid, and then flash the zip. Then you're covered either way.

The one thing that gets me, everytime with this ROM is the wake-lock thing/proximity sensor. I check battery life and Android System is at 99% usage...

Can't wait to be back :)

I'm downloading 1.2.1 to my phone right now.

EDIT: or I could just use the 1.2 file I downloaded when it was released :p

LOL......I actually went ahead and downloaded the update to my phone just now. I'm letting my phone charge to 100% before I flash. Gotta delete some apps (mainly games) that I don't use anymore as well.

Wouldn't install the updae, got an error message

I'll download it when I get home and just flash the 1.2 version.

I feel ya man. That's one reason I love TB so much, it'll batch move, remove and backup any app(s) you want. If I had only known how to properly use it when I first started flashing, I could have beaten Angry Birds by now...lmao.

That's odd, think it might be a corrupted zip?

Quite possibly :(

I also noticed that something went horribly wrong when I flashed v1.2 cause I no longer have a lock screen and my widgets don't stay on screen. I'm gonna have to do this when I get home.

1.2.1 decks rom is running so smoothly, I almost feel like it's not there, yet thank go it is, how nice it is not to have all that bloatware bogging me down and taking up precious space! Can someone tell me please the steps to take to get GPS back on target as its way off course and I'd like to see if there's a way to get it back on track?

Honestly, I haven't found one sure fire way to get the GPS working properly again. Though I did just come across this post on this ROMs thread over at XDA. Apparently it's updated GPS drivers, so I was wondering if anyone would like to try this fix with me. It also says you don't have to do the flash Sense work-around to get to work...which I was really happy to read. Gotta charge the ol' EVO though and make a nand before I flash this fix zip.

Ever since downloading 1.2.1, whenever I install a new app, it won't show up in the App Drawer. I can long-press and add it as an icon to my home screen, but nowhere in the app drawer.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hey camelguy when I flash the GPS fix what steps do I need to take to do it?

Well, after reading that entire thread...I can't see where anyone mentioned that we need to wipe anything so, I'm just gonna flash it and see what happens. :p I hope this works. *crosses fingers*
