Using JuiceDefender to overclock to anything above 600mhz results in loss of vertical/horizontal screen tracking, and shearing (although i assume this is related to the bug in the kernel)

This rom also seems to draw a bit more power than sROM did

Yes, the shearing has been noted before. It appears for some but not others. For example. It happened to me one single time. Just once, ever. But then never again. Some people see it all the time. I think there are hardware revisions that differ ever so slightly that are causing it more for some than others.

More power than sROM? Could be.

Tried using the headphone jack while in a call, or while receiving a call. Did not work for me as 2.2 used to. My gf could hear me but I couldnt hear her. On one test I used headphones. On a second test I had the phone connected to the car's radio through the aux port. Both failed for me.

Bummer. I used to use this too. Get a call while in the gym, and answer it without removing my headphones.
This is an inherited bug from the LG code though.

Thanks for testing this out... I was afraid of that. Guess I'll stick with Froyo.

hmm.. inherited bug? Do you mean a GB bug?

Yes I can confirm that this happens for me as well... a bummer to be sure. I liked having headphones in and then being able to "talk" to the phone... :(

Also I have noticed that when I'm listening to music (streaming TuneIn Radio, Mp3's, pandora, etc...) that I have had the music cut out to silence in the middle of a track or stream and the only way to get sound back on the phone was to reboot the phone. This has happenend a couple of times now.Has happened at random times, can't duplicate it, but seems to happen more when listening to mp3's as opposed to streaming audio.

The audio bug has happened to me as well, with Pandora and YouTube. It doesn't happen very often, and nothing obvious seems to trigger it, but it is annoying. Not sure if its the rom, or a combination of other things though. Another thing is the vibrate/sound of the gb keyboard cuts out at random times, and the fix for that seems to be to close and reopen it.

i mentioned earlier that even with a2sd my memory still went down quickly so i did a full wipe and reflashed and now everything is running great. a2sd is working flawless and so is the rom. GREAT work!!!! Thanks for all your work... I know you do all this for us and its people like yourself that make this such a great community. i would def donate if i could but with 3 little ones times are tough. so all i can say keep up the great work we all appreciate it.

You really need to update this ROM's version number. Every time I see it I think it's dropped back down to Froyo.

not cool at all..but i'm not having that issue at all. i receive my calls, answer, hangup all through my headphones. hmm. only issue i JUST started having is random reboots. IDK why tho. can't be cause im O/C at 806. probably happens 1-2x a day..

Help. I flashed g rom 2.2, everything is running great, but I found every time I try to dl a file from the web it errors, also have couple of apps that no longer will move to sd via titanium backup

More push email testing.
Using gmail.
Last night I restored a nandroid backup of when I upgraded to zvh and rooted. Did a clean install of grom 2.2; clean cache and phone reset (or whatever is called on the xionia menu).

This morning I sent myself an email, 20 mins later nothing.
I received emails while driving to work while I was using Pandora though.

Tonight I gave it more tests. 1 hr idle time then use laptop to send email to myself (hotmail to gmail, yahoo to gmail, work to gmail). 20 mins in between emails. They all seemed to work good.

Tomorrow ill send myself more in the morning. If it works good, its time to make another nandroid backup.

Tested flash. Works awesome! Too bad Sprint is not :(

I"m having the same problem (or lack of problem?). For the past two days, gmail push notifications have worked flawlessly, even after the phone had been idle for an hour or so. It even lasted through a clean upgrade to gROM 2.2. However, today (no reboot from when push was working), push is broken again. It's completely hit or miss. I think it's just one of the many niggling issues with the Sprint GB upgrade.

Scrosler, I'm going to go ahead and make a thread at AC that asks for input/bug reports on broken push/sync notifications using stock GB or stock GB based roms. I'll post a link to it in this thread once I get it made. Is there any info that you would like reported beyond app name, app version, and rom version? I'm assuming you're still interested in taking a look, but I don't blame you if you'd prefer not to. Thanks regardless.

*I'll create the thread hopefully sometime later today. I just don't have the time right now.

I did a clean install of grom 2.2 (went back to zvh). Everything was working great and then gmail just stopped working again. I went back to grom 2.1 (backup I had). I know that one worked great and so far its working good too. Ill report back.
Im curious, is it the new gmail update? And will a reboot fix the issue? or is it just hit/miss where it works sometimes?.

I need to test out calendar updates too. Make sure they are getting pushed.

I have that restart problem at 806 too, but if I run the CPU stress everything is fine. I changed it to 768 and it doesn't reboot anymore, try taking it down a few notches for a few days and see if you still get reboots. Doesn't make sense to me, but I'm not a developer. Can anyone else shed some light on this situation?
