[ROM] Harmonia 2.09 18July12 (IHO Gingerbread)

Re: [ROM] Harmonia 2 (IHO Gingerbread) See first post for updat

best ROM I've ever used by far, haven't had any issues in the past 4 months with it... until now. I'm not getting a connection to Virgin Mobile, I can't make calls or send texts or anything. I've tried flashing back to a stock rom and recovery, re activating, but it just gives me an error code (06-07-5920, service not available or something). I've been searching for hours on end, still have not found anything that helps. Even tried resetting the MDN and MSID in the programming menu. has anyone had this problem, and does anyone know of a way to fix it? people keep saying "call virgin mobile"... ing hello, I dont have a phone to call them or i wouldn''t be looking online for a fix!

Could be an outtage in your area or a problem with your account. It's not likely a phone or rom issue.

Every time I download a file(.apk or .img) from media fire it automatically saves as a .txt no matter what

Any fix for this other than renaming the file in a file manager app?

I've encountered that. The only way is by changing the end...like you did.

Install a file manager that handles zips, that should fix it.

I use ES File Manager. Never had a problem downloading zips or apks from mediafire. I've used Opera Mobile, Opera Mini, and the Android default browser.

This is by far my favorite ROM, I've been using it since it came out with no qualms...until now. When I try to download apps from the Play store, I'm getting either a "Package File Invalid" or "Insufficient Storage," even though there's plenty of storage on my device and SD card. It at first just did this with certain apps, but now it's affecting all of them. I tried reflashing but to no avail. I should probably do a full wipe and flash again, huh?

Try a little program called Market Fix. Amazing for that problem. I think otherwise, wiping your cache might do it. But give that app a try.

You click it and it runs for about a half second. After that you have no problem installing or updating apps. Like magic. I don't know the specifics of what it does, I only know it works beautifully. Maybe someone with more know how can explain the mechanics of it.

Mind posting a link to it :)? I would love to have this problem fixed. (remember to backup first)

Trying this ROM today. Its been super stable so far, thanks LeslieAnn. Was trying Jerry's rom but started having a lot of reboots, not sure if it was my phone, the rom, the kernal (bobzhome 3.7) but so far this rom is solid for me. Thanks for all the hard work!
