[ROM][ICS] the GODZILLA ROM 10-20-12

Re: [ROM][ICS] THE GODZILLA ROM tweaked and themed cm9!!!!!!!

So I just reflashed and am currently rebooting, but I can see the same thing happening again. When I get to the screen where it has me set up my gmail account, all I have to do is lock and unlock the screen and it will be fixed?

Yep, that's all you have to do

I have been having a terrible time with this rom. While using it, I experience reboots about every 20 minutes. I have my overclock at 480 and 768, with interactivex governor. It is quite laggy, and unstable. I will try it again when you post the update, but otherwise Im going to something else

I will test it when I get home today. I couldn't last night was waiting to here from someone. I look forward to it. What kind of changes are in this build from the last one? Curiosity...

iv tested it no problem so far except for no keyboard

Re: [ROM][ICS] THE GODZILLA ROM tweaked and themed cm9!!!!!!!

I've tested and am getting some funky artifacts up in the status bar. Also force closes every time I take a picture (actually reboots).

Re: [ROM][ICS] THE GODZILLA ROM tweaked and themed cm9!!!!!!!

Flashing now...

----UPDATED----

I flashed just the ROM, no gapps or anything else. Ok don't take the following against this ROM. I think this is probably a really good ROM. After about 5 minutes of flipping up and down and through menus and the app drawer I had 2 reboots. The screen will freeze part way through the movement then 10 seconds later reboot. This has been an on going problem when I was running bobzhome's CM 9, which is what Godzilla is based on. I haven't ran any other ROMs on this phone, so I don't know for sure if its the ROM or my phone, but I feel that its the phone. I will continue messing around with the ROM and report anything I can. If anyone else has had the same problem or knows a fix or test I would be interested.

Are you overclocked?

----UPDATE 2----

No keyboard?
Is it enabled in settings?
There doesn't appear to be a keyboard installed for me either. I checked the setting and there was not a keyboard to enable. I installed a 3rd party keyboard with ADB. The keyboard I installed showed up in the settings as the only keyboard, so I don't think there is one.

I've tested and am getting some funky artifacts up in the status bar. Also force closes every time I take a picture (actually reboots).
Are you overclocked?
I also see something funky going on with the status bar, distorted colors, smeared icons, new rendering on top of old rendering, but it only seems to happen with the browser. Normal with all other apps and menus so far. I tried to get a screenshot but in the shot it looks normal. I'm not overclocked on mine.

The camera works fine for me, cam and video. Pan is the only thing that causes it to FC (which I'm pretty sure has been a known issue with CM9 and 3rd party app can be used in its place).

My computer won't see USB Mass Storage unless I turn debugging on then off and ADB only works over TCP-IP not USB, but I'm pretty sure its a driver issue I'm having cause I had the same problem with Bobzhome CM9 ROM

Only one other freeze and reboot. Adding gapps and continuing testing as many parts as I can...

----UPDATE 3----

Well good I will release one with a keyboard thx for testing :)
I think I put in apps2sd++ can anyone confirm this?:p

apps2sd++ seems to be working fine. I found what might be a bug in CM 9. The night before I had changed a developer setting: root access: "Apps only" to "Apps and ADB". I was trying to give ES File Explorer root access in the app settings. SU showed up, pressed allow, SU showed up again, pressed allow, then ES File Explorer said it failed to gain root access. After 4 times I remembered the change and went back and set it back to "Apps only". Afterwards I tried giving ES File Explorer root access in the app settings and it worked. Changing to "Apps and ADB" seemed to have prevented root access for ES File Explorer. I don't know if it affects any other apps. I will try to install some other root apps and see what happens.

The ROM seems really great. Even with the reboot problems I seem to have every now and then, I can accept it a lot better because this ROM boots really fast. Much fast than CM 9 ever has. I haven't used any overclocking or performance tweaks (other than whats built into the ROM) and it seems very steady and fluid. Great job!
