fix_permissions

Well, i did the fix _permissions this morning, phone ran fast and smooth all day, no reboots until i unplugged my charger, then the phone reboots.

So i guess it's the charging port that's bad, i think,..

I'I'll continue running like this for awhile see how it goes, then maybe do a clean install. I don't know, if it is the port that's loose, I i'll just have to live with it for now.

Is it still under warranty?
If so call virgin and tell them. They send you a free replacement. Just flash zv9 update so its 100% stock.

I love this show.

Sorry to hear that. Try downgrading to the Resurrected Bumblebee and see if you have any reboots. No need to overclock as it's already set at 480MHz-768MHz. If it still auto reboots in same situation, its the phone that's bad.

That's a bummer, these phones are tanks for the most part, but that stuff happens. You could always grab a used one on ebay for about $30, and occasionally new ones come up for at $50.

Re: [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO (03122013)

I forgot one other thing.
Sometimes a corrupt piece of data on the sd card can cause reboots as well. Get a flash drive, go to a library (most have computers for use) and transfer data from card to flash drive. Then erase the sd card with the option in setting/storage. Reboot phone.
If you no longer get reboots it was a corrupt piece of data on the sd card.

Just re-install your clockworkmod folder, MUSIC, DCIM, Titanium Backup, Etc., and whatever folder has your apps that you moved to the sd card.

Hi everyone. It's been a long while since I've been lurking in the OV forums. I got the S2 about a year ago.

I have to ask because he was such a helpful individual on this forum. What happened to Jerry Script? Did he move on to another phone or completely vanish?

He vanished from the android scene. Seems he took up sterling engines.

Re: [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO (03122013)

For the past 5 days my phone has been very laggy. What should I do? Should I wipe everything including my apps and reinstall the rom? The phone app is specifically the worst, crazy laggy when I dial/call.

Re: [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO (03122013)

That would probably help. You can use titanium backup to backup and restore your apps, or any of the other backup apps.

First, open link2sd settings > more. Do clean cache, clean dalvik-cache and reboot. Might help

Re: [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO (03122013)

There is a kernel update in the OP. You can find the changes in my repo.

Any chance you will make a kernel for the Galaxy Nexus(Verizon).

Going to be totally honest here, I REALLY miss your kernel lol.

I wish I could but I don't have the device. Thanks for the comment.

Does the latest kernel support usb fast charge?

Yes.

Went here: https://github.com/mrg666/android_kernel_thunderc/downloads.
Got this:
There aren't any uploads for this repository.

I can't add new builds there since github does not support uploading binaries anymore. The remaining binaries were very old and I have deleted them. I have the kernel build links in the OP now.
