Whats up guys. New to rooting but I got it working. I did it ADB manual. One question though. I flashed Adrynalyne Kernel and I used his ROM but I switched back to MikROMS the perfect storm. So my question is what happens to the Kernel. Does it stay the same or does it change? Is there any way to switch to the stock Kernel that MikROMs the perfect storm used? Thanks guys.

the kernel will change after flashing a new rom. A kernel comes built into a rom when it is packaged into the zip file. You can always change the kernel afterwards but make sure that it is compatible.

Been using this ROM for a few days now and love it, the speed compared to stock in unreal. I am however having issues sending and receiving emails with attachments. Anyone else? Trying to figure out if its the ROM or my Gmail.

chingy posted a fix for the market. worked great for me and several others

Do this to fix the market:

1. Go into root explorer
2. Open up build.prop in text editor
3.Find this line "ro.build.fingerprint=verizon_wwe/htc_mecha/mecha/mecha:2.2.1/FRG83D/338893:user/release-keys" and make sure the colored number matches what is in your build.prop
4. Reboot your phone.
5. Let me know if this works.

Its a good stable Rom. I'm having major battery life issues but I really don't think its Rom specific. Give it a test drive. I'm sure you'll like it

It's fast and stable. The power consumption seems to be low (for the Thunderbolt) - I just saw 24 mAh on CurrentWidget which is the lowest yet for this device.

I have not configured it fully yet because I'm waiting for the 1.1 version. But this 1.0 is working great.

I dont know if it's just me or my settings but this ATE my battery this morning. 4h 15m UNPLUGGED and Im down to 30%...i mean I used it as an MP3 player at the gym for an hour and change, text, browser BUT GEEZ when I rooted it, got rid of the bloat myself and just had the stock ROM, it didn't go THIS fast.
