Thanks for another great update. Just wondering if anyone has issues with stagefright in this version. I am still unable to get NPR app to stream local radios (podcasts work). I tried using terminal to turn stagefright on but did not help (stagefright patches in Thunderom made it work before, for thunderrom not for reborn). Has anyone been successful in making it work?. Thanks and have a great holiday weekend.

Is there a way to make the wifi not sleep in this version ? like have the phone screen sleep but not kill the wifi ?

Will that fix the issue if I have WIFI on and I make a call or receive a call my wifi disconnects. After that I have issues with certain programs (like gPad) it wont connect again..?

If I had the older Reborn rom on my phone and just flashed the updated version without wiping data, cache, etc. what would happen?

I'm kind of a noob at the whole backup thing and it's my understanding that wiping data means erasing everything on the phone including apps, settings, etc.

If you don't wipe cache/dalvik cache it's almost certainly going to fail to flash all the files. To be perfectly honest, I think you will find most people recommend wiping the cache most times you are in recovery anyway.

Otherwise no you should not have to wipe the data, but if you do have issues, that's going to be the first thing anyone recommends you try.

It would probably be fine. If you have issues, wiping data will probably be the first suggestion.

And yes, you're right. Wiping data means you lose your apps and settings. You could always use Titanium Backup to backup/restore the apps and settings, and if you want to keep your texts, there are several apps that will do that for you as well.

Can I uninstall the LS670_Roaming.apk since I never use the app with Titanium backup?
Or is this app necessary to run on this phone's ROM?

The Roaming.apk has nothing to do with the ROM, or Titanium. It's the app that allows you to force roaming coverage if you choose to do so. It's pretty handy to have, and it takes up very little room.

Is there a way to adjust any settings on the notification widgets? I'd like to have the audio toggle between Sound, Vibrate, Silence. Right now it appears to toggle between Sound and Vibrate only.

not at all everything is just how u do a new flash I was playing the game and it froze and then rebooted huh wierd but im no noob its problebly a bug with the game
