Rom Manager should really fix it for the Optimus S if it's going to let it download from the Market...? Or fix the install parameters to not allow it to install on the Optimus S. Does the market know when to offer files or not??

BTW, VpnServices.apk posted is the same as Reborn 2.2.2's and it does NOT work.

Another glitch is Wifi, if I don't go to Wifi Settings it doesn't automatically connect, or am I being too impatient and I have to wait for some time to go by?

Also can someone tell me if using the intergrated portable hotspot cost money(an extra fee added to my bill) or free like easytether?

Nope, its free. Just might want to not go crazy and use 10 to 15 gigs of data in a month while on it. Could possibly raise some red flags.

This ROM is absolutely amazing. I notice the significant difference in speed and battery life. However, is there any way to flash a new boot image?

Well even on my Hero running GB using the status bar to connect to wifi it never connects unless I go to the settings...

I just flashed a different boot image. I found it on the Reborn themes thread.

No problem yes more than likely... But you will stand out like a sore thumb to sprint if you continue to use tons of bandwidth. No harm no foul tho til they send u a letter or tell you to pay for tethering. I used to use over 10 gigs a month but anything around 20 gigs is just rediculous in a providers eyes. Trust me

I have been using this rom for a few weeks now and I love it. Strange thing this morning. My power button will no longer put the phone in sleep mode. It works for all the other functions. I can get the reboot screen up but I have to wait for the display to time out to go into sleep mode. anyone have a solution? I did a dirty flash of reborn but it didnt work. Could the button mapping have been changed somehow? Thanks

My advice is to make a nandroid, then wipe data, cache, and dalvik. Then flash reborn again. See if that makes difference. If not then it might be a problem with the hardware itself.
